00:08But for a moment, black created this potential problem,

00:15having rook and knight at the same line.

00:18But if white simply tries to pin with rook and free,

00:22then king defends the knight.

00:24And we have nothing.

00:31We don't have any way of putting more pressure on this knight.

00:35So that's why all we need is just to make an intermediate check, rook e2.

00:41We're attacking the king, and if king runs on d4, then we do a fork.

00:46Remember? Fork.

00:48Double attack, king and rook, winning the material.

00:51And if king goes on f5, then we'll go rook e3, and then we'll win because of the pin.

00:56Black has no way without sacrificing an exchange and having a totally lost endgame.
