00:06congratulations to Mayor-elect Zoran Mandani. A hard-fought battle and it's imperative that our

00:16city continues to move forward. My team is going to put together transition documents and information

00:25to allow you to assemble your team and get prepared to govern the city. One of the most

00:32difficult jobs, but is truly the greatest job on the globe, being the mayor of the city of New York.

00:40And to all those communities who voted for someone else, we understand your concerns. We

00:47understand your fears. We understand the anxiety that you are feeling. But this is

00:54our democracy. And as our democracy, we will move together to ensure this city is a city that hears

01:02the voices for everyone. And I can promise you, as your former mayor and as a former member of the New

01:11York City Police Department, I will be committed to ensure your safety and your acceptance in the city

01:19community that we all love.
