00:07At this point, I was looking in the mirror and I thought,
00:09is everyone right? I low-key don't need one.
00:11But it's too late now, so we are on the way to all of our pre-op appointments.
00:14I had to get all of my medication, and this was when I started to freak out
00:17because there was a lot of medication.
00:19The next morning, I am up and ready, and at this point,
00:21I was sitting on the bed just so happy, naive, no idea what I was in for.
00:25The recovery was a lot worse than she expected.
00:28They were having a meeting about my surgery.
00:30It was all in Turkish, of course, so I had no idea what he was saying,
00:33but he was taking some pre-op videos.
00:35Then he's explaining to me exactly what we're doing.
00:37We ended up doing a mid-face lift, a neck lift, and a forehead lift,
00:40and he ended up talking me into doing my ears.
00:44So all you f***ing saying I needed my ears done, well, there you f***ing go.
00:47I actually didn't want to get them done.
00:49My mum filmed me going off to surgery, and then before I knew it,
00:52I woke up and holy...
00:55Full recovery can take up to 12 months.
00:59It was horrific.
01:00My mum had to feed me mashed banana.
01:02Got my bandages off on day three.
01:05They took all of these stitches out.
01:06I'm on day four now.
01:08It just hurts.
01:10This is horrific, guys.
01:11Like, horrific.
01:13I wouldn't do this again.
01:14Day six after my facelift in Turkey,
01:17and I'm finally getting my bandages off.
01:18I am so excited to get this off.
01:20It's so annoying on my forehead now,
01:22but I am really happy with how everything is healing,
01:24and this is my doctor having a look at everything.
01:27She was about to experience the worst part of the recovery process.
01:31This hurt.
01:31This is them taking out the staples in my head.
01:34So I still had staples in my head and around my ears
01:37that was obviously keeping most of the tension together.
01:40So I had to have all of this removed today,
01:42and let me just tell you the worst part was around my ear.
01:45So I've had so much hate.
01:46I did want to kind of address some of the comments
01:49on me having body dysmorphia
01:51or that I didn't even really need this.
01:53So my age is 37.
01:54The best time to get a facelift is 35 to 45,
01:57especially if you're over here in Turkey
01:59and you see how ahead of everything they are.
02:02She wanted to prove everyone wrong.
02:04We still have a good amount of collagen left in our skin
02:06to support this new facelift.
02:08So this was me last week, just before I got my facelift.
02:11So you can see that my biggest problem
02:12was, like, the lower part of my face.
02:14Obviously, the jowling through here
02:16and then also a little bit of my eyes
02:18kind of starting to fold over.
02:19This is me now with swelling.
02:21You can see that I definitely needed it.
02:26This is how my scars are healing
02:27and you can see that they go all the way around the ear.
02:30They are looking so clean
02:31and I can tell that they are not going to scar.
02:33So my doctor gave me this silicone tape
02:35and this is what I've now been using at night time
02:37at the two-week mark.
02:38Now I'm popping this tight headband on
02:40and I pop it over my eyebrows
02:41and slide it up to keep them in place.
02:43I also pop it over my right ear
02:45because it's sticking out more than my left ear.
02:47Her recovery is going so well
02:49and the results are incredible.
02:50As you can see here,
02:51at five months healed,
02:53I have absolutely no scarring at all.
02:55My biggest thank you to all those nasty comments
02:57is just basically what I look like now.
