00:06The things that you want that is unholy, the things that you desire to have that is unholy, is the root of your evil.
00:14The root of your evil is your desire to have, your desire to lust after things that is unholy,
00:21that takes you out of the spirit of God, that takes you out of the moral principles of God,
00:25that takes you out of the character of God.
00:27So those things that you want that is unholy, not pleasing to God, is the root of your evil.
00:37Meaning you are willing to do whatever it takes to get your wants, to get your desires,
00:44and not caring about the consequences of who you hurt, of who you hurt.
00:50And sometimes you can be hurting yourself, hurting others, and you are separating yourself from God,
01:00and you don't care, as long as you have what you want, as long as you have your desire.
01:09The root of your evil causes you to lose self-control.

01:34Is this righteous or is this unrighteous?

01:39It took you out of the character of God.
01:41It took you out of the moral principles of God.
01:47Because you desire what is unholy.
01:50And when you desire what is unholy, that is the root of your evil.
01:55Wanting something that is unholy is the root of your evil.

03:12There's nothing wrong with having a desire.
03:15And there's nothing wrong with wanting something in life.
03:21But does that what you desire take you out of the spirit of God?
03:28Is it unholy?
03:29And does it take you out of the spirit of God?
03:31If it is money that you want, what are you doing to get that money?
03:35Who are you harming?
03:40Are you harming yourself?
03:41Are you harming others?
03:43Are you harming the environment?
03:45Are you polluting the air?
03:47Are you conning somebody?
03:49Are you making other people's lives difficult?
03:53To have what you want.
03:55If you're a business, and you're going to other countries, and you're taking their resources, and you're making other people's lives difficult, that what you desire is the root of your evil.
04:10If you're polluting the air, if you're polluting the air to accomplish what you desire, and you're harming other people by polluting the air, you're messing up the environment.
04:22That what you desire to have, your wants is the root of your evil.
04:33And if you're saying, I don't care, as long as I get the money, I don't care, as long as I have what I desire, you have lost self-control.
04:45The root of your evil made you lose self-control, that you're walking out of the spirit of God.
04:52You lost the moral principles of God.
05:00You're not walking in the character of God.
05:02And this is why the scripture says in 1 Timothy 6.10,
05:09For the love of money is the root of all evil.
05:12Some people are eager for money, have wandered from the faith, and pierced themselves with many griefs.
05:20They have wandered from the faith.
05:22Why is this?
05:23Because they depended on God.
05:29They used to depend on God.
05:31Now they don't depend on God.
05:33They said, I could, I, I, no.
05:35Money became their God.
05:37And all they want is money.
05:39I don't care how they get it, as long as they have the money.
05:42They will put a gun to your face.
05:48They will rob you.
05:50They will steal.
05:54They will hurt others.
05:56They want it to do anything for their money.
06:00They will prostitute themselves.
06:04They will get jobs knowing that it is bad.
06:10Or they have to, they will influence others with bad things.
06:14For example, if you're doing an alcohol commercial and you don't, you know, and you're influencing your people with, to drink alcohol or, or, or, or, or smoke.
06:29Why would you do that?
06:31Just for you to get paid.
06:35But that, those consequences, those things that you're influencing with can hurt other people.
06:44For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil.
06:50And some people eager for money, they have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs because
06:55either they are in prison
06:59for murder
07:02or they did something wrong.
07:06They put themselves in debt
07:08or they, they, they, they, they, they are, or, or, or they, they go to the casino.
07:15They have a gambling problem
07:17because they are driven by money.
07:21They work 24 hours a day.
07:26They're not getting to sleep
07:27because the only thing on their mind is money.
07:31And they used to depend on God.
07:37When they was in their original state,
07:38they depended
07:39on
07:40God.
07:42Now,
07:43they're not in their original state.
07:45Who took them out of their original state and have them depending on money?
07:49Where money becomes their
07:51God.
07:53And they have wandered
07:54from the faith.
07:56They lost faith in God.
07:59They lost faith
08:00in God.
08:01They had faith
08:02in God.
08:04When they was indigenous
08:05in the original state,
08:07they had faith
08:07in God.
08:13Why is this?
08:14Why they don't have faith
08:15in God anymore?
08:16Because they,
08:17because they no longer
08:19put their faith
08:19in God,
08:20but in money.
08:22This means they have,
08:23they love money
08:24over God.
08:26They love money
08:27more than they love God.
08:29Why is that?
08:30Why do they love money
08:31more than they love God?
08:33Because when you love God,
08:35you follow
08:36his commandments
08:36and you're,
08:39and you know that God
08:40supplies you
08:42with all,
08:42all your needs.
08:43He supplies you
08:44with all your
08:45needs.
08:49And so,
08:50when you're focused
08:51just on money,
08:53your focus
08:55is just
08:56on money.
08:57You're not depending on God.
08:58you're not saying
08:58that God supplies you
08:59all with all your needs.
09:01You're willing to do
09:02what is evil.
09:03You're willing to do
09:04what is unholy
09:05to get that money
09:06instead of depending
09:08on God.
09:10And when you are
09:11willing to do
09:11whatever
09:12it takes
09:14to get that money,
09:15you're piercing yourself
09:16with many griefs
09:19because now
09:19you're in prison.
09:22Now you got yourself
09:23in a situation
09:24that you don't know
09:26how to get yourself
09:26out of.
09:28You got yourself
09:29in a situation
09:30that is sinful
09:30or unholy
09:31and you don't know
09:33how to get yourself
09:33out of it
09:34because you choose
09:36to walk out
09:37of the spirit of God
09:38and when you choose
09:40to walk out
09:40of the spirit of God,
09:41you are saying
09:41to yourself
09:42that money
09:42is more important
09:43than to do
09:46the will
09:46of God.
09:50And those things
09:51is the root
09:52of your evil.
09:55God,
09:56we trust
09:57on your money
09:58is very insulting
09:59especially
10:01when you choose
10:02money over God.
10:03This is like
10:04having a wife
10:05and a wife
10:07divorcing her husband
10:08to have money.
10:11To have
10:12money.
10:13She loves money
10:15more than she loves
10:16her husband.
10:17And she says,
10:18I love the money
10:19more than I love
10:20my husband.
10:20she's telling you,
10:22I'm leaving you
10:23because I need you
10:25to make more money.
10:27I don't care
10:28about you,
10:29I care about
10:30money.
10:33I'm leaving you
10:35to be with somebody
10:38that has more
10:39money
10:39than you.
10:42She loves money
10:43more than she loves
10:44you.
10:46You love money
10:47more than you love
10:48God.
10:49So you're divorcing
10:50God,
10:50to chase after
10:51the money.
10:53That's what you're
10:54doing.
10:55So having God
10:55we trust
10:56on your money
10:57is very insulting

15:54in an unholy fashion.
15:59So look at your politicians.
16:03Anybody who thinks about themselves more than others
16:06when they love power, they think about themselves more than others.
16:11They're not thinking about anybody else. They want money.
16:14They want whatever they want. They want to pleasure themselves.
16:16And all they think about themselves, how they're going to pleasure
16:20themselves.
16:25They don't want nobody else to have.
16:29They don't want no one else to have but themselves.
16:31They want themselves to have everything
16:34and you have nothing.
16:43If they cheated you,
16:45they don't care. They will steal from you.
16:48They will kill you. They will steal your resources from your country.
16:51They will harm their environment.
16:56They don't care
16:58as long as they can make money.
17:02They do this
17:03evil for their desire
17:06to have money
17:07and have power.
17:09So their power
17:15and their money
17:17is the root of their evil.
17:21It's the root
17:22of their
17:23evil.
17:26Anybody
17:26has a problem
17:27of what I'm saying,
17:33let's
17:34change.
17:36If you have a problem of what I'm saying,
17:38let's change.
17:40Let's desire things that is good
17:42and not
17:42evil.
17:44Not
17:45desire things that is unholy.
17:48We must change.
17:49We must
17:49shift our focus
17:51away from earthly things.
17:55Those things
17:56make us become idols
17:57and it consumes us
17:59and makes us lose self-control.
18:00Those things
18:01become idols to us
18:03because we idolize
18:04idolize
18:05and we are consumed.
18:08All we think about
18:08is money, money, money, money, money
18:10and unholy things
18:12and things that
18:13pleasure us.
18:15That's all we think about
18:16and we lose self-control.
18:19And we walk away
18:20from doing
18:21the will of God.
18:23And sometimes
18:24those things
18:26that we desire to have
18:27like our phones
18:28or the technology
18:29that we have.
18:30have you ever took
18:31a phone away
18:32from a kid
18:34and the kid
18:34throws attention
18:35attachments?
18:36She loves
18:37that phone.
18:39That kid
18:39loves that phone
18:40more than she loves
18:41her parents.
18:45She loves that phone
18:46more than she loves
18:47her parents.
18:47She doesn't want to
18:48give her parents
18:48any attention.
18:49She doesn't want to
18:49give no one else
18:50attention.
18:51While she has that phone
18:52she's going to throw
18:52attention attachments
18:53and she's going to
18:53have a fit.
18:54She's
18:56walking out
19:00of the spirit
19:00of God
19:01because she's
19:01being disobedient.
19:04You take that phone
19:05away from somebody
19:06they throw
19:07attention
19:07they walk out
19:11of the spirit
19:12of God
19:12they walk out
19:15of the character
19:15of God
19:15because whatever
19:18they're looking at
19:19whatever they
19:20watch and whatever
19:21they listen to
19:22and whatever
19:22they're being
19:23influenced by
19:23that is unholy
19:25got them doing
19:26something totally
19:27different.
19:29That's not the
19:30character of God.
19:33Or have you
19:34doing something
19:35and you're not
19:35being obedient
19:37to God
19:38you're being
19:38disobedient to God
19:39because you're
19:40taking in something
19:41that is not
19:44the character
19:44of God.
19:47And you're
19:47fouling your
19:48temple
19:48with foul
19:51with foul
19:53language
19:54you're
19:56to foul
19:56your temple
19:57with
19:57unholy things
