00:00like competing against your own perfection you won but it does matter you
00:07look at your games you find your mistakes next time you have to do better
00:11as long as you compete against your own excellence you you are no longer short
00:20of opponents I always looked for new ideas I always wanted to be ahead of a
00:27curve when I played chess up to the very end even at age 40 it was very brutal day
00:40schedule I played a game five six hours I analyzed immediately after the game and
00:47then I just spent time preparing for new games so it was roughly 10 hours if not
00:55more of chess every day for two weeks for the whole tournament and I always feel
01:00that making mistakes is was like a physical pain so just I could torture
01:05myself for being on the wrong side of the assessment so it's not making the right
01:10move so probably that was in a quite an excessive pressure and the reason I
01:20decided to quit 2005 just before turning 42 and still being number one is that I
01:30just realized that that was the end of this quest I was able to win more
01:39tournaments don't question about it but it was not the same desire not the same
01:48appetite for new ideas it was the end of my journey in making the difference in the
01:54game of chess
