China and Russia reaffirmed their commitment to deepening their comprehensive strategic partnership after participating in the 29th session of the regular meetings committee. Chinese vice premier He Lifeng and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Chernyshenko confirmed the willingness of both governments to maintain and expand bilateral strategic coordination. Chernyshenko emphasized that Russian-Chinese relations are currently at their best and praised the outstanding progress made in this regard. At the conclusion of the session, both countries expressed their rejection of the unilateralism and trade protectionism implemented by the United States, while ratifying their joint commitment to defending the multilateral trade system.
