00:14The informal session, held at his ministry in Putrajaya on Monday, brought together representatives
00:19from key media bodies, including the National Union of Journalists Malaysia, Malaysian Media
00:24Council and Gerakan Media Merdeka Malaysia.
00:27In brief remarks, Ngakor said the Madani government prioritised media freedom and had no intention
00:34of sidelining journalists.
00:36He said the session also served as an open platform for discussions and idea-sharing to
00:41strengthen collaboration between both sides in advancing the Madani agenda for the Rakyat's
00:47well-being and national prosperity.
00:49Among those present were NUJ Malaysia President Lo Buntat, Secretary-General Te Arthira, and
00:56the Ministry's Secretary-General Datuk Weera Noor Azman Taib.
