The U.S. military has launched another deadly strike on a suspected drug-smuggling vessel in the Caribbean, killing three people, according to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Calling the smugglers “narco-terrorists,” Hegseth vowed to treat them like al-Qaeda operatives. Saturday’s attack marks the 16th such operation since early September under the Trump administration, with over 60 killed so far. While Washington insists the strikes are part of counterterrorism efforts, Venezuela and Colombia have condemned them as reckless and politically motivated acts of aggression.
