00:00Welcome to the new video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog, where we take you to the 2025 World Robot Conference.
00:09This year, an event that presented itself not only as a showcase of cutting-edge robotics,
00:15but also as a real venue for thrilling competitions and sports that were previously only known from science fiction.
00:21Engineers, scientists and robotics enthusiasts from all over the world gathered to see how far artificial intelligence and mechanical design have progressed.
00:34Particularly impressive was the humanoid boxing match, in which no remote-controlled toys but autonomous machines with sensors,
00:42sophisticated balancing systems and pre-programmed fighting strategies clashed.
00:47The latest GI humanoids from Unitary Robotics impressed with their agility and stability,
00:54and many a punch or evasive maneuver caused the audience to cheer in disbelief.
01:00Even after a robot fell to the ground, it picked itself up to continue the fight undeterred.
01:07Clear proof that this was not just a show, but also a work on reaction speed and coordination at a human level.
01:14Equally fascinating was the first artificial intelligence-controlled 3-on-3 football match, played entirely by humanoid robots.
01:25With the help of cameras and image processing, they recognized the ball, tracked opponents and decided in real-time whether to pass, dribble or shoot.
01:35Even if the speed was not yet comparable to that of human athletes, the precision and teamwork were impressive.
01:41The spectators were thus given a glimpse of a future in which artificial athletes might compete alongside humans in mixed formats.
01:53Also newly introduced were the World Humanoid Robot Sports Games,
01:57which will be held from August 15-17 and will include 19 disciplines ranging from sprint and long jump competitions
02:04to dance performances and realistic scenarios such as hospital or industrial operations.
02:12These games are not just for entertainment, but are also a testbed for applications in medicine, disaster control and production.
02:20For many, robot sports are now considered the Formula One of robots.
02:26Entertaining high-speed development labs that drive innovation at breakneck speed.
02:30The atmosphere in the arena was electric.
02:35Whether it was a perfectly placed punch or a precise pass, the audience reacted with enthusiasm while experts carefully analyzed.
02:44The 2025 World Robot Conference impressively demonstrated that robotics is much more than just automation.
02:52It is also creativity, sport and a means of connecting people.
02:56At this speed of technological development, it should only be a matter of time before there are dedicated robot sports legends and heroes.
03:06As always, you can find the link to read the article in the video description.
