00:00At the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show, Zhang unveiled its latest humanoid robot, Iron, which is already being used in vehicle production.
00:10The robot, which measures approximately 1.7 meters tall and weighs approximately 70 kilograms, was first unveiled in November of last year and, according to XP, is actively involved in the company's production lines.
00:24Iron is powered by the company's proprietary Turing AI chip and is equipped with a total of 60 joints and 200 degrees of freedom of movement.
00:34Its computing power is an impressive 3,000 trillion operations per second.
00:41The robot's hands correspond to human proportions on a Z1 scale and have 22 degrees of freedom of movement, enabling precise and flexible object handling.
00:53Iron's mobility is based on large, continuous models and reinforcement learning, allowing it to move fluidly and naturally, without the typical rigidity of conventional robots.
01:06Its voice interaction system was adapted from the intelligent cockpit of DexPung vehicles.
01:13It enables conversations supported by active reasoning and logical thinking.
01:17Iron is also equipped with the same AI systems used for autonomous driving in XPeng's electric vehicles.
01:28The company thus bridges the world of vehicles and robotics.
01:33The interaction of the Turing AI chip with the company's proprietary TNIOS software system gives the robot advanced capabilities in the areas of perception, movement, and interaction.
01:44The so-called Eagle Eye vision system works with sophisticated cameras and ensures precise environment recognition and informed decision-making.
01:55This is complemented by a 720 degrees re-vision system, which also originates from XPeng's autonomous driving technology.
02:05XP sees Iron as a step towards a future in which intelligent mobility and smart robotics merge seamlessly.
02:12In addition to its use in vehicle production, Iron will also act as a personal assistant and perform tasks in areas such as customer service, office administration, or even in the home.
02:24Was the information about the humanoid robot Iron interesting?
02:29Then please subscribe.
