00:30Let's start with what probably catches our eye first, the paintwork.
00:42This Agave Green Solid was one of the very first paint colors available for the G-Class
00:47and it suits it extremely well even today.
00:50However, the stronger than the 1980s edition is also available in two other historic colors.
00:55Cream Solid
00:57and Colorado Beige Solid.
00:59In contrast, other components such as the radiator grille, the front bumper,
01:04the wheel arches and the exterior mirror housings are finished in night-black Magno.
01:09I know that everybody has already noticed these indicators.
01:12They feature a shade of orange no longer used today, while their shape has remained the same.
01:18What else?
01:19Well, we've got historic 5-spoke rims in Stirling Silver.
01:22The Mercedes-Benz batch in blue is having a comeback.
01:25And the spare wheel cover reveals at first glance which particular model you're looking at.
01:30And the personal highlight of my childhood, the Mercedes-Benz badge on the rear door.
01:35There is also plenty to discover in the interior of our stronger than the 1980s edition, inspired by the 280 GE.
01:42For example, the middle section of the seats is upholstered in the checkered fabric, typical of the time.
01:48Plus, we've got a shuckle door seal trim and our shuckle-proof badge in a special 80s look, perfectly matching the exterior color of this car.
01:57And, of course, our legendary crab handle featuring the lettering stronger than the 1980s.
02:04This edition is limited to 460 units.
