03:37In Grotz, Austria, where every G-Class has been built since 1979, the G-Class Experience Center has developed into a place of pilgrimage for off-road enthusiasts in just five years.
03:41Around 3,000 customers took part in the G-Class Experience last year alone.
03:47No wonder, because the one- and two-day events offer pure thrills.
03:53At extreme lean angles of up to 35 degrees with traction on just one wheel, deep in the mud bath or on 100% gradients on the so-called Iron Shuckle, you can experience the G-Class in extreme situations and yourself along with it.
04:07On asphalt, on the other hand, 58 horsepower unleash their full power and make the heart of every motorsport fan beat faster.
04:15In order to meet the high demand, Mercedes-Benz is now expanding the existing program with exclusive new formats, the thirst for adventure and luxury clubs.
04:24One highlight is the new G-Class Expedition Desert Edition.
04:28The first event of its kind outside the Experience Center.
04:32In Morocco, participants can expect a five-day journey through the Atlas and Anti-Atlas Mountains as well as through the impressive dune landscape near Merzouga.
04:44The expedition begins with an exclusive dinner and an overnight stay in a five-star hotel in Marrakesh.
04:52The next morning, the approximately 811 kilometers long off-road adventure begins, leading over mountain passes at altitudes of up to 2,800 meters, through water crossings and over unpaved tracks to Dades and on to the famous Garam Medwaras Crater, known from the James Bond film Spectre.
05:11Away from tourist routes, guests travel in a convoy through the majestic desert, experience spectacular drifts in the sand and enjoy sunsets at the exclusive outdoor camp.
05:22The trip concludes with a return flight from Arashidia to Marrakesh including a celebratory dinner.
05:29The vehicle fleet for this experience consists of the G450D G500 models, the new all-electric G580 with EQ technology, the Mercedes-AMG G63 and the special model G63 4x4 Hi2.

07:12Whether driving on the grok with different surfaces, driving through water in the forest, on a slalom course, evasive maneuvers or extreme braking, each module demands a different skill level.
