00:29Yes, there are different versions and that was possible via Beamer code, this app here, but it was relatively complicated back then.

00:39And now we've already received a couple of hints that the app has received various updates and that it's now much easier.

00:45And I'll just show you that briefly now. I always use this MHD adapter for this, but there are also thousands of others that you can use.

00:53Yes, the adapter goes into the socket.

00:59Then it's best to fasten the seatbelt, press the start button three times in a row so that it goes into D.

01:05Let's turn off the music here.

01:11That goes into diagnostic mode and then I installed the app on the phone.

01:18The best way to do that is to put it in flight mode, but at the same time activate Wi-Fi and then you can actually connect.

01:26Then search, in my case I have to select the black adapter.

01:30It's not rocket science, then I select the vehicle. In this case, a BMW 5 series.

01:36Then quickly check the control units.

02:23If you click on it now, you can define the colors you want to use.

02:27It's actually pretty cool, without me having to change anything here, right?

02:32So, you can now select color 1 down to color 7.

02:36You can customize it.

02:37You can even enter this hex code.

02:39Uh, yeah, whatever.

02:41And then you can change these profiles there.

02:44Namely, these are profiles 1, 2, 3 down.

02:48I think there are 11 of them or so.

02:50Uh, and you then change them accordingly.

02:53So here, the upper profile is bronze.

02:55Which means the same color at the top and bottom.

02:58Uh, and this is now set to the same color at the top and bottom.

03:04And profile 2 is bronze here.

03:06But it's set to blue orange.

03:10The rear color is always the upper lighting and the other is the lower one.

03:14Um, that means if I select this bronze white here, then the blue should be orange and that's what it does.

03:27As I said, it's pretty bright here.

03:29You can't really see it, but we have a blue one and an orange one at the top.

03:33And then I have orange here as the third profile.

03:38Orange and then you select the third one here and yes, then it's orange here.

03:44Orange or yes, a dark orange, red orange, whatever I've set there.

03:49Um, yes, that's how it works, right?

03:52Driving profile 4.

03:55Um, you can't rely on what's written here.

03:58The names don't change.

04:00You have to look at what you've selected here.

04:03And that's then set accordingly.

04:14And that's it.

04:15I haven't changed anything now, so it hasn't encoded anything.

04:22If I change the top color here, right?

04:25For this first profile, this bronze profile, I want to change the top color.

04:30So, I want to make it blue now.

04:35That means I want the second one here, go to blue, press save, encode, then it starts the whole thing over again.

04:42The display goes off briefly, right?

04:48Encode here, takes a moment.

04:52And now you can see it, then the blue appears at the top.

04:56The orange remains at the bottom, just like I have it in the appeal.
