00:00Five months after the official introduction of the new GMC Terrain in Mexico, General Motors has now unveiled the AT4 and Denali variants for the 2026 model year for the Mexican market.
00:15The automaker's Mexican subsidiary is thus launching an expanded model range that now includes all three trim levels, Elevation, AT4 and Denali, and thus offers a suitable option for every type of premium customer in the compact segment.
00:30This is already the second model year of the third generation of the Terrain, which is produced exclusively in Mexico.
00:41According to Tervera, marketing manager for GMC Mexico, the 2026 Terrain reflects the GMC brand DNA by combining state-of-the-art technology and advanced safety features with a revised exterior and interior design.
01:00With the introduction of the AT4 and Dali trim levels, customers should be able to choose the configuration that best reflects their personality.
01:10Of course, with all the features expected of the so-called professional grade.
01:14All three variants, Elevation, AT4 and Denali, are distinguished by their own front design, individual rims and specific exterior accents that emphasize the characteristic features of the new generation of GMC Terrain.
01:32The Elevation trim level comes standard with the Black Edition design package, which gives the vehicle a sporty, dynamic appearance.
01:39The AT4 version in particular stands out for its pronounced off-road capabilities.
01:49It offers increased ground clearance, a front underbody protection made of metal, 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires and an optional two-tone paint finish, which gives the terrain a more rugged, adventurous character.
02:01The Denali version, on the other hand, represents maximum comfort and luxury in a compact design.
02:11It features advanced technologies, high-quality materials and a particularly meticulous interior design.
02:19In addition, chrome-plated trim elements and 20-inch aluminum rims ensure an elegant appearance.
02:24All versions of the 2026 GMC Terrain are powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine called the LSD as standard.
02:38This engine produces 175 horsepower and delivers a maximum torque of around 275 newton-meters.
02:45It is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission from General Motors and standard all-wheel drive, which gives the terrain superior driving characteristics both on and off-road.
02:59The market launch in Mexico will take place during the month of June.
03:03The 2026 GMC Terrain in the Black Edition trim level starts at around €39,000, while the RT4 variant costs around €44,000.
03:16The top-of-the-range Denali trim is around €46,000.
03:19With this wide range of models, GMC offers a particularly diverse range in the C-segment of compact SUVs in Mexico for discerning customers who value technology, design, comfort and performance in equal measure.
