00:00Does it feel like they're doing that when you watch them, though?
00:03I know you're looking at the numbers, but say you cover the numbers up
00:06and you come out of the game.
00:07Does it feel like you just watched a defense shut down a running back?
00:11Eight straight games.
00:12It did last week.
00:13Wasn't Quinshawn Judkins supposed to be the star?
00:15He did nothing.
00:17Like, nothing.
00:19Even on the drive when they went down the field and scored at the start,
00:22it was all Harold Vanden.
00:23Fullback.
00:23It wasn't Quinshawn Judkins, so, yeah.
00:26I do.
00:26I look up and I say, wasn't this guy supposed to do something?
00:30But Alvin Kamara, where was he today?
00:32Like, you just – it's not loud.
00:34You know, they don't have, like, eight tackles for loss every game.
00:38That's the thing.
00:38They're not in the backfield disrupting plays.
00:40But they do make a lot of plays at the line of scrimmage,
00:43and the numbers would suggest as much, too,
00:45either at the line or behind the line.
00:46Like, they're right there near the top of the league.
00:49I just think, by its nature, run defense is not a flashy thing.
00:53And so, you very rarely leave any game saying,
00:57boy, the other team there couldn't do anything on the ground.
01:00I think it could end up being the case again today – or on Sunday, excuse me.
01:03Strength on strength.
01:04I think it's sort of a theme of this game, isn't it?
01:08There are multiple different aspects of this game that I would say meet that criteria, right?
01:13So, in the passing game for the Patriots, in the pass defense for the Falcons, same deal.
01:20Falcons have been among the best in the league at limiting the explosive play.
01:23So, I thought – silly me.
01:27I thought last week the Patriots would have to be more of a dink and dunk,
01:30kill you with a thousand paper cuts kind of offense because of what the Browns are able to do with their pass rush.
01:36Drake May's still pushing the ball down the field.
01:38He's still throwing 40-yard bombs to Kayshawn Booty for touchdowns.
01:41That's still how he's able to operate and credit to him for that.
01:44Now, he did eat a bunch of sacks, maybe because he's looking downfield and he's holding onto the ball a little bit longer
01:49than some of these more dink and dunk quarterbacks would.
01:53But this week, the Falcons, again, in terms of against passes, 20 yards or more down the field,
01:59they're one of the best, if not the best, in football.
02:01And in terms of just pure yards, pass yards, they're number one.
