00:00Welcome to the BMW Art Car Tour.
00:05Follow me through this very special art collection.
00:13I have to be very practical and yet an incredible dreamer.
00:30Across the whole world, from one place to another, actually, I'd like to do about 10 more, all different.
00:55The difference is, this is meant to be seen moving, and I keep looking at it.
01:00What would be good would be to make the service as everything, a bit more abstract.
01:26That's what style is all about.
01:29Let's say proportion, spacing, rhythm.
01:33It's like a piece of rhythm and more than anything I wanted to make it look like it was about to go.
01:39So I tried to do it as you know a piece of art but also as a piece of design.
01:43I also thought it would be nice if women could participate, rather than just standing around like bikini dance machines for me.
01:54The challenge lies in creating something that isn't understood from just one perspective, but from multiple viewpoints.
02:04You see the beauty of the car, and you see yourself reflected in it, like a print.
02:13If I were to do it again, I would, but I have no confidence that I could do better.
02:21What would happen if the car were to pass through that painting and be affected by it?
02:29You know, there's that moment when you see other people's investment and become a spectator.
02:48This element of surprise is also incorporated into the motif.
03:05Because I think of speed, a bird comes to mind first.
03:21That's why I wanted it to give the impression of dressing the room without any resistance.
03:51And I wanted to do the 24 hours of M.
03:56So I had the idea of combining this passion for speed.
03:59And from there, the first idea was to have it painted in the style of Calder's kinetic art.
04:21So let's go.
04:22Let's go.
04:23Let's go.
04:24Let's go.
04:25Let's go.
