00:14The new for 2021 Tryon Street, Scrambler. Part of Tryon's iconic Boneville family.
00:20You can see just by its looks that the Street Scrambler is a fun-loving motorcycle.
00:25It's a beautiful custom scrambler with plenty of urban attitude, exciting high-talk performance,
00:32and an easy-handling chassis that looks as good as it writes.
00:36So, let's take a closer look at the specifications and what's new and enhanced for this new generation
00:42update. Starting with the 900cc high-torque Boneville engine. Euro 5 compliant and updated for 2021,
00:51this liquid called Latest Generation Powerplant retains all of the power, character, and responsiveness of
00:58the Boneville twin-cylinder engine, but it's cleaner, exceeding Euro 5 requirements with lower emissions
01:04and giving great fuel efficiency. It has incredible torque from low down right through the rev range
01:10for strong acceleration with peak power arriving at 7,250 rpm, and with peak torque at 3,250 rpm.
01:22Ride-by-wire throttle control ensures a responsive feel throughout. The high-level compact twin silencers
01:28deliver a unique British twin exhaust note that perfectly matches the distinctive Scrambler character.
01:34While the cleverly engineered intricate exhaust routing hides the cap box rendering it invisible,
01:40the brushed aluminium headers follows a tight radius for a neat overall profile.
01:47With a commanding riding position, the Street Scrambler's dedicated chassis setup with its wide aluminium
01:53bars, forward-set footpegs, long travel front and rear suspension, and big 19-inch front wheel inspires
02:00confidence. It gives great visibility in traffic. It's comfortable for longer and more auxiliary rides
02:07on the open road and easily tackles unmade light off-road surfaces. The long-travel cartridge front
02:13forks are finished with gates on the front. The adjustable twin-shock long travel rear suspension features
02:20grey springs and black shrouds. The low seat height adds to the confident feel and is complemented by a
02:26narrow stand over width. Excellent stopping power with great bite and feel is provided by the high
02:33specification Brembo 4-piston front brake caliper. The Street Scrambler also has a torque assist clutch
02:40for light and easy operation, a particular benefit in heavy traffic or messing about off-road.
02:47Switchable abs and switchable traction control are fitted as standard to optimize delivery when
02:52traction is compromised. And there are three riding modes which is class leading with rain,
02:58road and off-road. Rain and road just a throttle map and traction control settings for optimum
03:06performance in wet and dry conditions, while turns abs and traction control off to give the rider
03:11complete control over the rear wheel when on loose surfaces. The clocks come with an analog speedometer
03:19and a digital menu system which is easily accessed via a handlebar-mounted scroll button.
03:25Other features include an under-seat USB charger, key fob incorporated immobilizer,
03:31and compact power-efficient rear LED light. The Scrambler silhouette is unmistakable,
03:37born from the original Triumph Scramblers, which kicked off the entire desert racing scene in the 60s,
03:43maintaining that authentic character and timeless DNA. With these wide-space forks,
03:49high-level exhausts, minimal body-wide bars and wipe oak wheels. These have black hubs and rims and
03:56come equipped with dual-purpose Mitor tires for great grip, durability, and precise handling in all road
04:03conditions. And with this new generation for 2021, there are lots of new premium touches and details.
04:10For this new aluminum number board with an embossed Scrambler logo plus a new more rugged side panel.
04:18Also new are these throttle body finishes, heel guards and headlight brackets, all of which feature a
04:24brushed aluminum finish. There's also a new leather and textile-inspired seat covering. Other Scrambler
04:31defining details include these high-grip bear trap footpegs, the elegantly shaped tank with lockable cap and
04:38this minimal front mudguard. And as with all of the bikes in the Triumph's classic family,
04:44the Street Scrambler's black-coated engine features the signature-shaped boneal engine covers with their
04:49unique Maker's Mark badge complemented by a finely finished head and header clamp.
04:55And finally to personalize your bike there are 120 Triumph design accessories available for adding
05:01protection, comfort, style, capability, and security. These include a range of rugged and durable luggage,
05:09high-level mudguard, headlight grille, sump guard, bench seat, short and tall screens, center stand.
05:16The list goes on. All have been designed and engineered alongside the bike for perfect
05:21integration and tested to the same exact standards. The Street Scrambler is available in two single-color
05:28paint schemes, jet black and urban gray and dual matte carry and matte ironstone option.
05:34It also comes with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty and a long 10,000-mile or 16,000-kilometers
05:41service interval. And for European markets, the Street Scrambler can be fitted within a two-license
05:47kit which can be easily removed by the dealer to put the bike back to full power. So there you have it,
05:53the new 2021 Street Scrambler. A fun and accessible custom Scrambler beautifully evolved for a new generation.
