00:11email uh it says and and this is about our conversation that we had last week when the

00:26gambling and sports isn't just around the professionals college or high school aged
00:32athletes my sons have been involved in pop warner and elite and the same thing is going on here
00:40these organizations have coaches that are betting at ages as low as six years old and up what and
00:50it's substantial money parents are betting as well and we're talking about kids that are at a child
00:58almost at a toddler age it may not be illegal but it's in bad taste it's gotten progressively worse
01:06over the last few years these kids are being trained coached and prepared because they are well aware
01:13that daddy's got fifteen hundred dollars on the day's game coaches in my son's dms offering him
01:22shoes or gift cards so he could play for them instead even calls from people asking me who's
01:30healthy and who's not from the 10 to 12 year old teams just as you were talking about with the
01:36professional athletes insider trading is what you called it one of the kids who wanted new gear
01:43full-on yelled at his dad at the field that he had made money for him all season and wanted his new
01:51gear it's a lot worse than what you guys described and it's at a kid age so trust me it's going on

02:03doing yelling at your dad uh but second of all i've never heard about this ever this so this is a
02:10common thing like i i don't know anything about it i'm the common according to that person i mean

04:26minds during the game uh yeah out of the 813 yes it's true coaches will even act as a coach for a
04:33random team they do not coach for just to train and take the best players back to their team they bounce
04:39around as a coach on many teams to steal players this one says this happening since the early 80s
04:46a lot of people saying it's happening a lot in the down south um too it says 100 true been a youth
04:53coach for years 15 plus not only have i seen it but i've had kids from my teams get offered those
05:01mentioned things from other coaches youth football is business now please keep me anonymous do not say
05:08my name but everything the writer said is true i've seen heard of it my entire time being in the
05:13little league uh the past nine years these parents coaches bet thousands of dollars and yes some
05:19kids are aware oh my god tampa skyway every week just hit for 5k what's that i don't know but it's
05:285k i know what 5k is if he's saying he just hit for 5 000 that means he won five thousand dollars
05:34from a bet from a league does this sound sound like a degenerative kind of like it i mean yeah

06:33were the kids not aware because they're saying kids ain't aware of this oh yeah we were aware and
06:39then on top of that the older kid like i was like seven eight nine then but like the older like the
06:45teenagers being like they didn't play about those games like it was like my mom used to want to go
06:50home after like i like cheered at my game because it got so serious like it's not fun anymore
06:57yeah i mean that's talking about that it makes it like it's like it's your job and not like it's a
07:02extracurricular thing it's it's like this becomes the the focus almost right so yeah the kids knew
07:09definitely knew about it it just got serious like all the games but like i said when the older kids
07:14played man when i was a kid it was serious like and they're like with the coaching yeah too and then
07:21like the coaches have their favorites and all too and then it's like you should make everybody feel
07:25special when it come to that you know yeah yeah no absolutely i appreciate it man that's uh wow

07:37um that is one thousand percent correct i was in football as a team mom and a coach for seven years
07:50before covid after covid and it's ridiculous how the parents out there be betting on other kids
07:57um when the person who wrote us said that the kid was yelling i made you money so are do you think
08:04kids are aware of that and and are the kids getting cut in on any of it um i'm quite sure um i wouldn't
08:12put it past them i mean if they're already gambling i'm quite sure they are i've never heard it or seen
08:18it in the seven years that i was in football but i'm quite sure it is wow that's crazy i'm quite sure
08:24they're aware of it so we can't be shocked if it's made it to pro i mean if these kids are doing
08:28it now i mean you talk about six and up like that's it's a lifestyle by the time they get to college and
08:33pro and even flag football wow really flag football where they're four and five years old

09:07all gambling on college sports remain strictly prohibited prohibited but the policy shift comes
09:14amid ongoing ncaa investigations into game fixing and betting violations in college sports so they're
09:21allowing yeah kids that you have given nil deals to that have like a couple hundred thousand dollars
09:30in the bank now seems they can now bet on pro sports seems a little dangerous not college sports
09:38right but they could bet on pros yeah that sounds it's kind of so now you got a kid who left your
09:44college who now goes to the pros and now you're like hey dog who you know who who not who not playing
09:53today right because i can bet on it as a college kid yeah i can't bet on it once i get to the pros yeah but
09:59once they once they get into the pros like they have a a hard program that they go to to let them
10:06know that you cannot bet at all whatsoever forget that as of november 1st kids in college can bet and
10:13they have classmates and upperclassmen who are now their best buddies who they can easily text
10:20this is saying that the refs are involved in it too the refs are betting on the teams what yeah i haven't
10:27understand the underworld there is of peewee football but i'm seeing some other stuff here i don't even
10:33want to say they're saying like certain exchanges for kids to get playing time some parents had to do
10:40certain things yeah well like paying paying a coach to get their kid on the uh not paying they had to
10:46like do bedroom stuff bedroom stuff it's saying don't forget you're if you're not having blank with
10:53the coaches your child gets no play no matter how much hard work they do to earn their spot um wait
11:00that sounds illegal hold on wait i wait a minute i so their parents yeah who are hooking up with the
11:08coach to get their kids more playing time and i guess it's it sounds like it's being forced like
11:13your kid will not play if you don't do and this person said their name but i'm not even gonna say
11:18yeah no we're not doing that um out of the 813 that is not true the kids do suffer now i'm starting
11:24to understand why parents are acting the way that they do at the games first i thought it was that
11:28they were trying to live through their kids now i understand it's because they're trying to get rich
11:32off of their kids and it's a damn shame that's crazy out of the 813 been coaching in tampa for
11:38almost 20 years most of these dudes shouldn't be around children at all terrible role models betting on
11:44kids sleeping with mamas etc i totally agree with i mean i listen i'm i mean if i'm someone said

11:58hey coach what's happening and you're looking good that's one thing but if i'm like holding it hostage
