00:30Genesis is now offering exactly that in the form of the so-called Genesis Track Taxi Norshalif, a performance experience in which passengers can feel the full dynamics of the Genesis G70 ride where it unfolds best, on the asphalt of the infamous Norshalif in Germany.
00:48The so-called J70 Track Taxi is used for these trips and has now served as the inspiration for a special concept car developed by Genesis Motors Canada.
01:01This show car, called the J70 Track Day, will be presented at Canadian Genesis dealerships in the spring to promote the driving program in Europe.
01:12The G70 Track Day is technically based on the production version of the DG70 sedan, including the chassis, wheels, and tires.
01:20Visually, however, it differs with specific body modifications such as hood vents and tow eyes mounted at the front and rear.
01:32Inspired by the Track Taxi on the Nürburgring, the vehicle rolls on 19-inch wheels fitted with Michelin Pilotport 4S tires.
01:40The paintwork is based on the familiar design of the Track Taxi, but is black instead of orange and features striking Norshalif graphics on the front and rear fenders.
01:51Anyone wanting to experience the J70 on the road can expect the starting price of around €39,000 in North America.
02:02However, for those who want to see and experience it in action, a ride in the Track Taxi on the Norshalif is a great option.
02:10Genesis charges approximately €120 per person.
02:14For this, you get a lap of the more than 20 km long track with its 73 corners and an elevation gain of about 300 meters.
02:25The ride takes around 10 minutes, but is conducted exclusively by professional Genesis drivers.
02:33Passengers are not allowed to drive.
