00:03Today it's all about the exciting Jeep Bugout 4C concept.
00:08A concept vehicle that is fully dedicated to the topic of ultra-lightweight overlanding.
00:14The basis is a 4-door Jeep Wrangler FXNE Rubicorn,
00:18which has been extensively modified and weight-optimized to enable a modern,
00:23responsible and mobile off-road camping experience.
00:26Completely in the spirit of overlanding, where the journey is the destination.
00:31The Jeep Bugout C.I.A. concept was developed with a special focus on lightweight construction and functionality.
00:37Externally, the special paint job in matte silver P-51 with yellow accents and graphics immediately catches the eye.
00:45The roof structure has been raised to make the rear area more accessible.
00:50Ideal for longer stays in remote areas.
00:53At the front, a steel bumper with LED auxiliary lights ensures robustness,
01:00while a custom-designed hood gives the vehicle a striking look.
01:03The Mopar front half-doors and the custom-made rear-side panels with integrated auxiliary batteries underscore the functional character of the concept.
01:15The body, extended by approximately 30 centimeters,
01:19features a drop hitchhatch in the style of the Jeep Gladiator and a robust tubular rear bumper with high ground clearance.
01:25The wheel arches have been modified for more ground clearance and 18-inch ultra-light forge line rims with 37-inch BF Goodrich KM3 tires are mounted underneath.
01:45Ideal for difficult terrain.
01:49Nothing has been left to chance in the interior either.
01:53The front seats are custom upholstered with topographical patterns.
01:58The floors feature a water-resistant coated surface and are additionally equipped with mole panels and cargo nets for secure storage.
02:05The rear of the interior is completely flat and offers space for sleeping or retreating in bad weather.

02:35This is the bug-out concept.
02:38So with this one, we really wanted to do a modern take on a overlanding,
02:42which is a type of off-roading that's become really really popular in the last decade or so.
02:46So I know we're up at the front, but the real story on this one is at the back, so let's take a look at the back.
02:52We started with a Wrangler 4-door 4 by Rubicon.
02:56As you can see, it only has the front doors.
02:59So for overlanding, what you want is space and space that is very versatile and very adaptable depending on what you want to do.
03:08So on this one we created a custom bodyside aperture panel that removed not just the rear door but the rear seats
03:14and then also extended the back all the way back to where the the face of the rear tire is.
03:20So it's no longer than a Wrangler 4 but it gives you about another foot and a half of space in the back.
03:26And what that allows you to do, it gives our um people using it a blank canvas back here.
03:31Oh we've got some M-grid patterns back here.
03:33We've got some nuts.
03:35We've got an E-scooter in the back.
03:36We've got tents.
03:38We've got all kinds of things that you can use to strap your gear,
03:41to attach your gear to use this really as you wanted to.
03:45Another cool detail on the bug-out concept is the wheel and tire package.
03:50So these are 37-inch UK03 tires which are kind of the most popular tires for overlanding.
03:57You'll notice the tread pattern isn't as blocky and as aggressive
04:01because of the purpose that it has of a more versatile terrain that it can go over.
04:05In addition to that, you'll notice that we have these 17-inch lightweight styled wheels again
04:11to go kind of with the uh the lightweighting more minimal approach of the bug-out concept.
04:17And then kind of the last thing I want to mention on this one is the color palette.
04:21We finished this one in a P-51 silver which is a matte silver that we've created
04:26and it's accented by these bright glossy yellow accents.
04:29And then believe it or not this isn't grey.
04:32This is actually an olive green.
04:34Uh and this whole color pet together was was inspired by uh some of our past uh military fighter jets.
04:41So a new take on overlanding where we've actually opened it up
04:44and lightweighted everything and removed a lot of things.
04:48Back.
