00:00Welcome to the video from the Auto Magazine Tuning Blog on the topic of the Rolls-Royce
00:09Black Badge Spectrum. As always, you can find the link to read the article in our magazine in the
00:16video description. Since 2016, the name Black Badge has stood for more powerful models at
00:22Rolls-Royce. However, there has not been a fully electric vehicle among them so far.
00:27As a coupe, the Spectra remains true to its all-electric drive,
00:32but with even more power it makes a statement at the top of the model range of the British
00:36manufacturer from Goodwood. The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre offers 663 horsepower and 1077 new
00:46torque. Despite the absence of the legendary Z-cylinder engine, it is the most powerful
00:52model ever presented by the BMW subsidiary. Compared to the regular Spectrum, this variant
00:59has an increase of 83 horsepower and 174 newm. The result? Acceleration to 100 kilometers per
01:08hour is reduced by three-tenths of a second to just 4.1 seconds.
01:12A new function called Infinity Mode, which is activated at the touch of a button on the
01:18steering wheel, unleashes the full potential of the electric motors and ensures even more
01:22direct response from the accelerator pedal. At the same time, the design of the digital
01:29instrument cluster changes to give it a sportier look. In addition, the Black Badge Spectrum features
01:37the so-called spirited mode, which acts as a kind of launch control and briefly makes maximum torque
01:42available to the driver. In addition to the additional power, Rolls-Royce has also worked
01:49on the driving dynamics. The dampers have been revised to minimize body pitch under hard acceleration
01:55or braking. The steering is now heavier and improved side-by-side stabilization ensures more
02:03precise steering movements and less body roll in corners. However, this comes at the expense of
02:10efficiency. While the standard Spectra can travel up to 446 kilometers on a single charge, the range
02:18of the Black Badge with the 22-inch wheels is reduced to 428 kilometers. If you opt for the partially
02:27polished or completely black 23-inch rims, the range is further reduced to 404 kilometers.
02:35Visually, the Black Badge Spectra stands out thanks to exclusive design options.
02:40In addition to the special rims, the new exterior color Vapor Violet is available for the first time,
02:46which can be combined with a matte black bonnet.
02:48Alternatively, there are colors such as Charles Blue, Chartreux, Forge Yellow or Tichies.
02:57An additional waft line can be applied to the lower half of the body.
03:03The dark look typical of Black Badge models is also present, including an illuminated radiator
03:08grille front, which shines with a purple backlight in the press images.
03:11The exclusive design continues in the interior. A combination of carbon fiber,
03:19metal and subtle wood elements creates an elegant ambiance.
03:25The piano lacquer dashboard is decorated with no fewer than 5,500 illuminated stars,
03:30accompanied by a glowing infinity symbol. Each interior is painted in several layers and polished by hand.
03:37The digital instruments can also be customized and are available in 5 color options.
03:45The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectrum comes at a price.
03:49The British luxury car manufacturer is asking around 445,000 euros for the model,
03:54which makes it around 61,000 euros more expensive than the standard version.
