00:21The XSED RX CDM is an impressive hybrid SUV that has been available on the Chinese market since March 2024.
00:28At that time, the brand introduced the model as a front-wheel drive variant and quickly promised an all-wheel drive version.
00:36And that's exactly what's now available.
00:38This SUV is available from a price of around $26,700 and impresses with a mix of performance, design, and range.
00:48The new XSED RX has a striking modern look on the outside, giving it a more ecological appearance.
00:55The closed front section is reminiscent of an electric vehicle.

01:02However, a small trapezoidal air intake on the lower front bumper ensures that the internal combustion engine is still sufficiently cooled inside.

01:29The double exhaust tailpipe is also striking, which does not hide the combustion power of the engine despite the environmentally conscious design.
01:37With a length of 4781mm, a width of 1920mm, and a height of 1671mm, the XSED Air X retains its impressive dimensions.

01:59The weight of the all-wheel drive version is considerable.
02:03Thanks to the battery and electrical components, it weighs 2.1 tons.
02:09The front wheel drive version is slightly lighter at 1.9 tons.
02:15Under the hood is a 1.5 liter combustion engine with an output of 156 horsepower.
02:21This is supplemented by three electric motors, two at the front with 224 horsepower, and one at the rear with 237 horsepower.
02:33Together, the XSED RX achieves an impressive system output of 619 FJ and a torque of 920 Nm, making it incredibly dynamic.
02:45In combination with the innovative three-speed DHT automatic transmission, the petrol engine can drive the wheels in parallel with the electric motors, maximizing performance.
02:57The XSED RX manages to accelerate from 0 to 100 km in just 4.26 seconds, almost entering the world of sports cars.
03:07The all-electric range of the all-wheel drive model is an impressive 200 km, while the front wheel drive version has a range of 100 km.
03:18With a battery capacity of 34.5 kW and a full fuel tank of 70 liters, the all-wheel drive RX achieves a remarkable range of up to 1,400 km.
03:29With a full battery, fuel consumption is on average just 3.5 liters per 100 km and increases to 6.6 liters when the battery is empty.
03:41The interior of the XSED RX also has a lot to offer.
03:46The modern driver's cabin is functionally designed and features two large displays with a total diagonal of 24.6 inches.
03:53This provides a clear display of both the digital instruments and the infotainment system, and allows for intuitive operation.
04:03The automatic transmission selector lever is ergonomically positioned behind the two-spoke steering wheel.
04:09Practical details such as cup holders, wireless charging areas, and a hidden storage compartment ensure a minimalist yet functional interior.
04:18The seats are made of high-quality leather and offer comfort functions such as seat heating, ventilation, and even a massage function for the driver and front passenger.
04:30The ergonomic design, combined with a comfortable ottoman for the front passenger in particular, creates a luxurious driving experience.
04:37The model is equipped with a new LON 5.0 platform, which enables fast and smooth operation of the multimedia and driver assistance systems.
04:48The Qualcomm Snapdragon 1855 chip ensures smooth connection to smart devices and a modern user experience.
04:57The storage space has also been thought of.
04:58The trunk holds 660 liters and can be expanded to 1783 liters by folding down the rear seats.
05:07Perfect for longer trips, thanks to its modern driver assistance systems, as well as the adaptive chassis and brake components,
05:15the XSeed RX impresses with its high level of ride comfort and safety.
05:19The independent McPherson suspension on the front axle and the multi-link design on the rear axle contribute to stability and enable a smooth ride even on uneven terrain.
05:32The low-noise tires ensure a quiet ride and a pleasant interior climate in electric mode, which further increases acoustic comfort.
05:41For buyers in China, the XSeed RX CDM is available in two equipment lines, Pro and Max.
05:46The Max model offers additional comfort features such as adaptive LED lighting, roof rails, NFC access, and a projection-capable windscreen display.
05:58The Pro version is available from $28,200, while the luxurious Max model is available for $1,000.
