00:00Welcome to Tuningblog's video about the all-new Mazda CX-80.
00:11The 2024 model year is the latest and arguably most ambitious crossover
00:15designed specifically for the European and Japanese markets.
00:21This vehicle combines style, versatility and impressive performance
00:25and is aimed at those who expect something more from a family SUV.
00:30The CX-80 impresses not only with a more spacious interior,
00:35but also with improved technology and two-engine options
00:37that reflect Mazda's high standards of innovation and quality.
00:43Production of the Mazda CX-80 began in early 2024
00:47at plant number two in Hofuyamaguchi, Japan.
00:52Built on Mazda's large product group platform,
00:54the CX-80 relies on a rear-wheel drive concept with long-established engines,
00:59which ensures balanced and dynamic road holding.
01:03There are two engine options to choose from,
01:06designed for different driving styles,
01:07both of which come standard with all-wheel drive
01:09and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
01:14At the heart of the new CX-80 range is the plug-in hybrid variant,
01:18which combines a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor.
01:22This configuration delivers an impressive 323 horsepower
01:28and generates a maximum torque of around 500 newton meters.
01:34The hybrid model offers an electric range of around 33 kilometers,
01:38which is ideal for zero-emission driving in city traffic.
01:41There is also a powerful 3.3-liter pier six-cylinder diesel engine
01:47with mild hybrid technology.
01:49It delivers 250 horsepower and an impressive 550 newton meters of torque.
01:56This diesel is particularly suitable for longer journeys
01:59and offers a high range and efficiency.
02:02Mazda shows its attention to detail in the interior of the CX-80.
02:05The spacious interior exudes quality and offers space for six or seven people,
02:12depending on the seating configuration.
02:15The second row of seats can be optionally equipped with captain's chairs,
02:19either with or without a center console,
02:21which means even more comfort and freedom of movement for the passengers.
02:28In the driver's area, a 12.3-inch infotainment display,
02:31a fully digital instrument cluster and a head-up display
02:35ensure that all important information is always in view
02:37and driving comfort is enhanced.
02:41The Mazda CX-80 not only combines stylish design and versatility,

02:49The electric range of the hybrid version enables emission-free driving in city traffic,
