Mit seinem 427 LS7-V8 und zwei 72-mm-Turbos erreicht er unglaubliche 1500 PS – eine Leistung, die ihn zum ultimativen Restomod macht. Für dieses Meisterwerk haben die Tuner in Michigan mehr als 10.000 Stunden investiert und ein maßgeschneidertes Chassis eingebaut, das für Stabilität und herausragendes Handling sorgt.

00:10Today we're talking about a very special vehicle, the 1987 Grand National JNXS with LS7,
00:16which recently won the coveted Good Guys Gold Award at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
00:24Unfortunately, we can't show you any video footage, but the photos are so impressive that we couldn't
00:29keep them from you in a D show. This extraordinary Buick Grand National was transformed into a
00:35masterpiece for a customer by the tuning company Dutch Beast Hot Rods from Wexburg,
00:40Michigan, with a lot of love and an incredible 10,000 hours of work.
00:45The result is a real dream car in which retro charm meets state-of-the-art technology.
00:51At the heart of the GNXS is a mighty four-cylinder 27R7 V8 engine that,
00:56thanks to 272mm turbos, develops an impressive output of 1 in 00HP.
01:03The Dutch boys have used their technical know-how to perfectly showcase every one of these horsepower.
01:11A custom chassis from Detroit Speed with an X-Gen front axle and a quadrilink rear axle ensures
01:16optimum stability and excellent handling, keeping the Riestom safely on the road even at high MPH.
01:22Precise air supply through the enlarged bonnet and precisely fitting ventilation slots ensure that
01:29the engine is always optimally supplied. This vehicle is also a real eye-catcher visually.
01:37Exclusive handcrafted rims from Greening Auto Company round off the look perfectly.
01:41The rear 20-inch rims, combined with 12-inch wide tires and a tire width of 345mm,
01:51fit flush with the wide fender flares and give the GNXS an unmistakable look.
01:59The interior is a perfect fusion of nostalgic 80s charm and state-of-the-art technology.
02:03Aventard Design has used 3D-San in great care to develop an interior that includes both custom-made
02:12door panels and a digital dashboard.
02:17Every area of the cockpit has been redesigned to create a seamless transition between areas.
02:24The classic retro look is maintained thanks to magnetic components and custom-made panels.
02:28The electronics system has also been upgraded and supplemented with a Holley Dominator system,
02:35which has been specially linked with new wiring harnesses.
02:39In the trunk, magnetically secured storage compartments and modern hinges offer additional
02:44comfort and organization.
02:45The big grand national GNXS is not just a car, it is a work of art that rightly deserves the gold award
