00:01I like to make hats when I can that are not just about the race, it's about wearing other places, other times.
00:09Using the same sort of material that I've made the base out of, so using all the material, again part of that sustainability thing.
00:17And this is, it's in two colours because I only had a small amount of pink and a small amount of orange and I, you know, I'm trying to be sustainable and I didn't want to start a new straw.
00:28So I thought the two colours looked good together.
00:32So this is a new vintage hat block that I've got and I just love that shape, it's very much a 1950s sort of Dior shape.
00:40And I also love the texture of this straw, which is, this straw has been in my box for a while, but it's a very inflexible straw so it's hard to sort of mould.
00:51Because this is a shallow block, I was delighted when I found that it would mould over the block.
00:57And this is, you know, using the Cinemay as a hand sculpted sort of trim.
01:03This is a vintage straw that I've picked up from Japan and so again it's got the two shades of pink.
01:11This one is slightly wider beret so it will suit someone with a slightly wider face shape.
01:17So I noticed a lot of softer materials were coming in through the dresses so this year I've been incorporated a lot more organic in my trims so it sort of puts in the feel of the dresses as well.
01:35How about the bowler hat? Is that a popular shape?
01:39No, it's not a popular shape.
01:42However, I love it. This is my tribute to Dior, Peter.
