00:00out. There's a 12 o'clock battle taking place in Austin. Texas has been winning games, coach,
00:05but as ugly as anybody in the country, back-to-back wins against Kentucky and Mississippi
00:11State in overtime. This coach, this team has been living on life support in back-to-back weeks.
00:18Is this the week they potentially get right against Clark Lee and Vanderbilt? They're only
00:23laying one and a half points at home in Austin. Yeah, you know what? I'm going with Diego
00:30Pavia. I just am going to go with him. I have just the opposite effect. Being a guy who's
00:35coaching the SEC and has been a college football all my life, I have a hard time not thinking
00:40they're going to push Notre Dame way up, and I have a hard time being an old SEC guy. It's
00:44trusting how good Vanderbilt is, but I think Pavia, the guy that he is there, I think of
00:51him being like Haynes King, put the ball in his hands in the last series, the last quarter,
00:55and he'll find a way to win for you. I just think Texas, and I think Arch Manning may not
00:59be able to go. I know he's kind of iffy. He had a concussion or a concussion protocol from
01:04last week, and so I just see Vandy pulling this thing off. Texas has been inconsistent,
01:10and with Arch Manning maybe out, I just don't know where it's going to go. I'm going to have
01:15to stay with Vandy on this one and say, you know what? Heck with my background in the SEC,
01:20Vandy is for real. When you look at the matchup against Mississippi State, Texas was a seven-and-a-half
01:26point road favorite. They trailed in the second half of that ballgame, 38-21. They needed a 70-yard
01:34punt return to tie that game up. At 38, they were given the golden ticket, and they definitely cashed
01:41in in overtime, winning the game by eight points, a dominant effort by the Longhorns to just pull that
01:47ballgame out, Coach, so we'll see exactly how it plays out the rest of the way, and I agree with
01:53you. I think, you know, right now, early on, Vanderbilt catching points. They have the more
01:57consistent quarterback, more consistent defense right now. Texas is going to have to get it
02:02together. You can't allow teams to sneak in like Kentucky and like Mississippi State right now that
02:09don't have one win in the conference. No, Vandy won't blow it at the end. Vandy will put that ball
02:15in that quarterback's hand. If Vandy has the ball and they're winning, they will hold on to the
02:20football. If they're behind three points or five points, that son of a gun is going to drive them
02:24down for a touchdown. I just think that's what he's got.
