00:00Hurricane Melissa tore across Jamaica Tuesday, the worst storm seen on the island since record

00:06keeping began in 1850. The Category 5 storm came packing. We're talking sustained winds,

00:13not just gusts, of 185 miles per hour, three feet of rain, and a predicted storm surge of up to 13

00:22feet. That is insane. Flooding and power outages have been widespread. Roofs have been ripped off.

00:29Lives have been lost. We don't even have a total count yet. What's also insane, a moronic wannabe

00:36influencer who bragged about flying to Jamaica just hours before Melissa made landfall. Hannah Grubbs

00:43posted a bunch of just absurd videos to Instagram boasting about riding out the storm from her resort

00:50in Negril. Now, an on-the-ground look at the storm is not in and of itself absurd. It's what she was

00:56saying. Grubbs whined about it, ruining her vacation. Now, as you might expect, she was swiftly

01:03blasted by commenters pointing out that her holiday without the sun is nothing compared to the death

01:08and destruction Melissa is sure to cause for locals who didn't and don't have the money to leave.

01:14And others pointed out that she was taking resources from people who could really use it,

01:18especially given that she flew into Jamaica knowing full well that this massive hurricane

01:23had the island country in its sights. Now, the United Nations, which says for Jamaica,

01:27it will surely be the, quote, storm of the century, has already launched a sea lift operation to deliver

01:32aid to the island. You know, many scientists believe that super strong hurricanes like Melissa

01:39are the result of climate change. But one of the loudest voices of climate doom and gloom is changing

01:44his tune. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has spent years warning of the dire impacts of rising global

01:49temperatures. But now he says it will, quote, not lead to humanity's demise. So, OK, I guess that's

01:56something. Gates wrote a lengthy blog post urging people to move on from the doomsday outlook. Mind

02:03you, he himself has sunk billions of his own fortune into the cause. Now, before you start calling the

02:08tech wizard a climate change denier, let's parse this out a bit. He's not saying it's not real, nor that

02:14it isn't going to cause problems. See Hurricane, Melissa. What Gates is saying is that climate change

02:20will have serious consequences, especially for those in poor countries. But it's not going to be

02:25Waterworld or Mad Max. Quote, people will be able to live and thrive in most places on Earth for the

02:30foreseeable future. Israel has launched a series of attacks against Hamas inside Gaza. The latest

02:37barrage came just hours after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered, quote, immediate and powerful

02:43strikes after claiming Hamas attacked Israeli defense forces. The troops were stationed in the

02:48southern city of Rafah when they were attacked by Hamas gunmen on Tuesday. Hamas also shelled the

02:53area the IDF was operating in. Now, if you're scratching your head here and thinking, wasn't there a

02:57ceasefire? Yes, there was. And the use of force by Hamas is a clear violation of the fragile peace

03:03deal negotiated by President Trump earlier this month. The terror group has also failed to return the

03:08bodies of several Israeli hostages, another violation of that agreement. Now, a similar

03:13episode played out last week in Rafah and Hamas denied involvement, blaming anti-Hamas militias

03:19instead. Now, Hamas also denied this latest incident, claiming that they are committed to
