00:00Get the f*** off this time. Where this time then?
00:03Jamaica no problem, not for influencer Hannah Grubbs.
00:07The wannabe social media star is under fire for flying to the Caribbean country
00:11as the island braced for a devastating hurricane.
00:15It's expected to be the strongest storm to ever last Jamaica.
00:18Hurricane Melissa out here messing with my vacation,
00:21Hannah whined from her hotel balcony in Negral,
00:24and TikTokers fired back.
00:26Pretty freaking tone-deaf video.
00:27People are legitimately about to die.
00:30Pretty insensitive to the locals that do not have much,
00:33have no way to evacuate,
00:35and a lot of them are probably about to lose everything.
00:37It all started with this video of Hannah and a friend strutting through the airport,
00:41fully aware of the dangerous situation ahead.
00:44When they arrived at their resort,
00:46she was handed tricolored cocktails and gloated,
00:49pretending there's not a Category 5 hurricane hitting Jamaica.
00:53Hannah apparently thought she could ride out the storm,
00:55all with a drink in hand.
00:57Not so fast.
00:58Days into the ill-advised trip, things took a scary turn.
01:02Hannah posted a weather map on her Instagram stories,
01:05saying she's now stuck on the island.
01:07And on Monday, October 27th,
01:09she shared that she and the other hotel guests
01:11were told to hunker down in their rooms for potentially days,
01:15and asked for prayers.
01:16So, definitely just asking prayers for Jamaica,
01:19for the whole island.
01:20Sustained winds of up to 175 miles per hour had already been recorded,
01:25and a life-threatening storm surge of up to 13 feet was expected across southern Jamaica.
01:31The historic storm has already been blamed for seven deaths in the Caribbean,
01:35including at least three in Jamaica.
01:36This video from Old Harbor Bay shows a capsized boat drifting close to shore.
01:42Tropical cyclone specialist Anne-Claire Fonten from the World Meteorological Organization
01:47called it the storm of the century for Jamaica.
01:50Prime Minister Andrew Holness has already ordered mandatory evacuations for parts of southern Jamaica.
01:56He warned that the government had done all it could to prepare for the potential devastation,
02:01saying,
02:01there is no infrastructure in the region that can withstand a Category 5.
