00:00So the Good Food Guide has listed their best 100 pubs in the UK and top in London is the Pelican, which is a pub in Notting Hill.
00:07The Pelican is just known because it is sort of a hangout for the West London crowd.
00:13So everyone who used to go to the Cow, maybe still does, now goes to the Pelican, including people like Dua Lipa, Olivia Wilde was spotted in there and Princess Eugenie was there too.
00:22It's not a traditional old boozer by any stretch of the imagination, it's quite sleek and modern in there and it's very elevated pub food so you would expect to see on the menu guinea fowl or sea bass and it also got in a bit of trouble last year because it's so popular that all the neighbours were starting to complain.
00:41It's not actually my personal cup of tea, I quite like the Pelican, I much prefer the rest of what that group do, including the Hero in Maida Vale, but if you're curious as to why it's so good, it's definitely one to go and check out.
