00:06the statue of Confederate General Albert Pike has been reinstalled in Washington, D.C.'s Judiciary Square.

00:13Now it's protected by a fence.

00:17Pike not only fought to separate the Union, but also tried to stop blacks from gaining the right to vote.

00:23The statue makes no mention of that.

00:25The decision for the National Park Service to reinstall the statue was made to align with an executive order from President Trump.

00:31D.C.'s non-voting congresswoman called it morally objectionable and an affront to the black and brown residents of D.C.
