00:00In today's Media Miss Minute, a controversial statue of President Trump and convicted sex
00:05offender Jeffrey Epstein taken down nearly as quickly as it went up. And a congressional
00:10candidate is refusing to back away from comments she made about the shooting death of Charlie Kirk.
00:19I'm Craig DeGrali. In today's Media Miss Minute, two stories largely ignored by partisan media
00:24outlets. First, a story the right has largely skipped. A statue titled Best Friends Forever,
00:31showing President Trump and Jeffrey Epstein frolicking hand in hand, was removed from the
00:36National Mall just one day after it was installed. An anonymous collective known as the Secret Handshake
00:42had obtained a permit through Sunday, but U.S. Park Police removed it Wednesday, citing permit
00:48violations, including size limits. Now a story being missed by left-leaning outlets. Democratic
00:54candidate Shelby Campbell, running for Michigan's 13th district, is standing by controversial
00:59comments about conservative activist Charlie Kirk's death. Hey MAGA, how bad does it hurt?
01:06The Jimmy Kimmel's back, but you guys can't get your person back. The remark appeared on Campbell's
01:10TikTok, since deleted but recorded and shared online. Asked about it on X, Campbell confirmed
01:17it was her, calling it dark humor. She added she doesn't think anyone deserves to be murdered,
01:23but warned extreme rhetoric can have real-world consequences. For more stories missed or minimized
