00:00I had these great scenes with Malcolm Jamal Warner.
00:03I just still can't believe that Malcolm's no longer here.
00:05That's like, wow.
00:08He was such a good dude.
00:09I remember this scene.
00:11Our characters didn't like each other,
00:12and he was very protective of everybody on the show,
00:16and that's kind of like how he was.
00:17I wasn't acting at the time that The Cosby Show came out,
00:21but when I did see The Cosby Show,
00:24his character resonated with me the most.
00:26I can see myself as an actor in his character,
00:30and I hadn't decided to act at that time,
00:33but that probably was one of the first times I was like,
00:35wow, look, that's kind of cool.
00:37This dude's an actor on TV.
00:39We kind of could look alike.
00:40As a matter of fact, he had one of my favorite episodes
00:42on The Cosby Show in the Gordon Gartrell shirt.
00:47That's just one of my favorite all-time episodes,
00:49and we talked about it on set,
00:50and he was telling me a couple stories about working in New York.
00:54And when I first came to that cast,
00:57he was like, hey, you know, let's go grab a bite to eat.
01:02So we went out to dinner.
01:04This is an incredible dude.
01:05I hate the fact, I hate what happened to him,
01:08but rest in peace.
01:09Let's go grab a bite.
