Tjens Couter - Who Cares 1975 (Belgium, Blues Rock)

This Belgian hard blues rock band emerged from the ashes of Freckleface in the mid-70s... The vocals were at times very reminiscent of Bon Scott's early AC/DS... Otherwise, it's a rather tough and dynamic hard blues with good electric guitar. After a first attempt with his band Freckleface in 1972, Arno Hintjens and Paul Couter started Tjens Couter (made up out both of their names). They released their first single Saturday Night Queen / Sittin' In The Park in 1975. In 1977 bassplayer Ferre Baelen and drummer Rudy Cloet joined the band and the name was changed to Tjens Couter and the T.C. Band.

Tjens Couter deserves an important place in Belgian music because it was the direct predecessor to TC Matic.
