A Joint Effort - Final Effort in 1975 (Canada, Psychedelic / Folk / Country Rock)
The band was formed in the early 70-ies in Fredericton, the capital of the province of New Brunswick, and was known only at the local level, speaking at the sites of clubs, universities and colleges. One of these performances, shortly before the band broke up, was recorded and released as a single album on the label "Little Records", edition of only 200 copies. How to remember the band leader and producer Terry Tufts album Robert Williston, "we started jamming in Rm 310, Bridges House, University of New Brunswick in 1973. The album was recorded in the fall of 1975 and it was the last performance of the band in front of her fans on the street near the building student Union, as well as the album includes some records from our concert at the "Lord Beaverbrook" in Fredericton. "The album is a strange mixture of a jam country, acoustic folk-rock, psychedelic colors and the rudiments of hard rock. The album was considered a rare psycho-folk release until it was re-released first in 2006, the label "Void Records", and later a famous hunter of rarities - "Radioactive Records". Guitarist Rick Bastedo and drummer Grant Harrison and now live in his native Fredericton and still occasionally perform together. One of the brothers Tufts, vocalist Tim, along with his wife in a suburb of Ottawa engaged in cultivation of valuable breeds of English setter and Canadian horses. Brian Bourne still plays bass with the band "Rawlins Cross", and Terry Tufts continues his solo career.
