00:05President Donald Trump most recently criticized former President Barack Obama for winning

00:18A new survey polled Americans on their views of U.S. presidents since 1981, and the results
00:23reveal that Obama holds the edge over Trump, though he's not the most popular president
00:28in modern times.
00:29A 2025 Gallup poll revealed he's the most popular living president, with 59 percent
00:35of Americans viewing him favorably and 36 percent unfavorably.
00:39According to the poll conducted by Marquette University, 42 percent of Americans have a
00:44favorable view of Trump, while 57 percent view him unfavorably, resulting in a net favorability
00:50rating of minus 15 points.
00:53Meanwhile, 57 percent said they view Obama favorably, compared to 40 percent who view
00:58him unfavorably, giving the former president a plus 17 net favorability rating.
01:04Former President Ronald Reagan, however, is viewed even more favorably than Obama.

02:24Former President George W. Bush also had a plus 8 rating, with 50 percent viewing him favorably
