00:05The Task finale opened with heartbreak after the emotional twists of Episode 6,

00:10but by the end, it offered a glimmer of hope that caught fans off guard.

00:14As the credits rolled, one question lingered.

00:19Though the show was billed as a limited series,

00:22the cast and creators have already begun teasing what a second season might look like,

00:26sparking fresh excitement for a possible return to HBO.

00:30We haven't gotten an official Task Season 2 renewal yet,

00:33but the team is hoping to bring you more of the story.

00:36Writer Brad Inglesby would love to have a chance to do another season of Task,

00:41he said in an October interview with Esquire.

00:48I'd love to tell more stories about this place,

00:52I do feel like I have more stories to tell.

00:55Yes, Task was originally created and put out with the intention of it being a limited series,

01:01but multiple mini-series are getting a multi-season treatment.

01:05If HBO wants to turn Task into a long-running show, I wouldn't be surprised.

01:10After getting all of Robbie's money, and Tom allowing her to keep it,

01:17It's not officially confirmed where she's going,

01:20but one thing's for sure, she's headed to greener pastures.
