00:00Carl Banks, Giants legend, had some words for Dexter Lawrence in his podcast.
00:06Dexter Lawrence, nobody respects you anymore. Nobody. Your opponents do not. The pre-injury
00:16Dexter is not there in their heads. I would actually have to agree. I think more than
00:21anything, there has to be a call to attention to someone who has had resume skills, ability,
00:27and the caliber of human and quality talent as Dexter Lawrence. I couldn't agree more. I think
00:32it was most tastefully said. The bottom line is we don't know exactly what all the factors are,
00:36but you should never be in a position where your backups are playing more productive when you just
00:42went to being the most destructive force in the National Football League at your position prior
00:46to your injury to we're now in the meat of this football season and you are four weeks into
00:52health. We should at least be able to see production. Carl talks to a lot of people in the building.
00:56Is that a siren as a message from somebody who Carl talked to who said, you know, Dexter's got to
01:02pick it up. I think what he's saying is respect is double teams and triple teams. They're not saying
01:07players, opposition don't respect you as a player. Carl's saying they're not giving you that respect
01:12by constantly double teaming you. You know, with great power comes great responsibility, right?
01:17That's the Peter Parker Spider-Man way. He's got great power. He's a team captain. He makes a lot
01:22of money and let's see how he responds to it.
