00:27Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 4, 1961.
00:34His father left soon after his birth, and the couple divorced two years later.
00:39At the age of ten, Obama was sent to live with his maternal grandparents.

00:47While living with his grandparents, Obama enrolled in the esteemed Pinahoe Academy.
