00:00Um, hello. Okay.
00:02I'm gonna break the trailer, and then we're gonna go play the show.
00:06Bye! Goodbye!
00:14We're at Vogue World Hollywood today, which is huge, and we're gonna hang if you want.
00:19Join me.
00:21We're at the Paramount lot. It's definitely hectic, but in a pretty epic way,
00:25because there's so many people walking the show.
00:27We just finished Soundcheck, kind of full rehearsal.
00:30It was the first time I got to see all the models and friends walking down,
00:34so that was incredible. But now we're gonna glam.
00:37Let's do it.
00:46We're in glam now. I'm here with Emily, my hero, and Takuya.
00:50Hello.
00:51The concept Summer of Love inspired everything about the look today,
00:56from glam to what we're wearing.
01:00It's nice to work within, like, the confines of an era,
01:04which we don't necessarily always do.
01:06So to send references back and forth was sweet.
01:09We were sending lots of Sharon Tate kind of eye references,
01:13and Twiggy, how her freckles sit, was exciting to us this morning.
01:18And then on the hair front, light texture.
01:21Having less hair than I did an hour ago, even, is thrilling.
01:26So no place to debut a cut like Vogue World Hollywood.
01:32Summer of Love, 70s.
01:37My favorite album is Tapestry by Carole King.
01:42Well, and I'm also repping my other favorite album, so it's a little bit...
01:44I feel like I'm cheating, but that's why I'm representing both at once.
01:47It's the goal.
01:48Tapestry came out 1971.
01:50And when we were thinking about songs to fit into this section,
01:56that was one that I felt very passionate about, that album as a whole.
02:00And Anna and team selected I Feel the Earth Move.
02:05And then it goes into That's So True, which is an unlikely marriage.
02:08But it's really exciting to be singing these songs here,
02:13and especially feeling how alive the era feels while, you know, our section is going on.
02:23It's pretty amazing, everyone in their, like, joy and their gorgeous looks.
02:29And there's lots of, like, prancing around and hand-holding.
02:33And so it feels really nice in this moment where I think there's lots of darkness to kind of be like,
02:38oh, okay, there's, like, light and joy and love.
02:45There's so many people working on this show.
02:48You feel the energy.
02:50I like that it feels raw, but also being, like, at Paramount Studios,
02:53it's, like, there are aspects of it that are polished, but then in the middle of the song,
02:57someone's, like, pushing a cart of costume down or, like, you know, holding the boom.
03:03It's sick.
03:04The way that they're integrating, I think, like, film in general,
03:07it seems like they've got lots of crew members involved in the runway,
03:11which is exciting to me.
03:12I think personally working a different kind of show on a pretty daily basis,
03:17I just very much appreciate that they're bringing a lot of people
03:20who aren't necessarily always seen kind of to the forefront.
03:25Luckily, my band is with us today, which just for me is, like,
03:29these are my favorite people in the world and also comfort blanket to the max.
03:34We're all starting in the back of a truck that reveals us,
03:38and I am loving the drama of that.
03:42It's, like, subtle drama, but feels right,
03:44and, you know, to be able to look behind me and see Alan, Casey, and Gabe
03:50being their summer of lovely selves.
03:54It's really nice.
03:55Ew.
03:56Cut that.
03:57We're gonna finish glam really quick, and then I'll see you in five seconds.
04:06Vogue World officially starts in an hour, and I am five seconds after start time,
04:11so it's down to the wire now.
04:13We are wearing a look from Mathieu's Chanel collection.
04:18It's one of my favorite ones that came down the runway.
04:21It's red and floral and couldn't be more comfortable, so I'm very lucky there.
04:27And then the shoes are pretty epic.
04:30I am so stoked that Chanel is making these shoes,
04:34because I'm gonna try to, I, like, after we did the rehearsal,
04:37I did put them in my bag just to pretend to go home with them.
04:41We have the earrings.
04:43They're heavy, so if, you know, you see me walking and I get weighed down,
04:48it's just because the Chanel is too good.
04:50It's really remarkable tonight to be here for a million reasons,
04:56but I think it's unbelievable work that the proceeds from the show tonight
05:01are going to benefit people who work in the film industry,
05:05specifically those who were impacted by the wildfires.
05:09It's very close to my heart because I grew up in the Palisades,
05:12and so many friends of mine have been deeply affected,
05:15and friends of mine in Altadena as well,
05:16so this feels really special to be gathered at all,
05:19in a time like this,
05:21to be reminded of the importance of community in that way,
05:23but for this reason in particular,
05:26couldn't be prouder to be here supporting the cause.
05:33I'm gonna go change into my look.
05:35Oh, you're panning up. Hello.
05:37Because it's time.
05:39Now I'm scared.
05:40Standing up put fear in me.
05:43Hello. Okay.
05:45I'm gonna break the trailer,
05:46and then we're gonna go play the show.
05:48Bye.
05:50Goodbye.
05:51Hi. We're dressed.
05:52Can you believe it?
05:53It's time.
05:54We're going to stage.
05:55Stage.
05:56Runway.
05:57Right now.
05:58Um, thank you so much for hanging with me.
05:59This is incredible to me.
06:00I, I, yeah, couldn't love this more.
06:04Really, I feel very in my skin, despite kind of molding to the era.
06:08Time to go.
06:09I'm hearing from Mackenzie.
06:10Love you.
06:11Bye, Vogue.
06:12Bye.
06:13Bye.
06:14Bye.
06:15Bye.
