Watch the touching moment a woman in Brazil rescues a badly injured dog found on the side of the road.
Brenda Siqueira, from Anápolis, Brazil, filmed the clip showing the dog limping with one front leg severely wounded, its paw visibly damaged and bones exposed.
The woman carefully approaches, comforting the animal before taking it to a nearby vet.
Vets later amputated the injured leg to save the dog’s life. In later footage, the same dog can be seen happily exploring its new home, now safe and loved in the woman’s care.
The emotional rescue has moved viewers on TikTok, gathering over 1 million views, many praising her compassion and kindness.
Brenda said: “I found this dog, possible got run over and left for dead, her front paw was exposed to the bone, covered in maggots.”
“As soon as I rescued her, I took her to the clinic for procedures, this involved amputating her paw to give her a better quality of life, as she had lost a significant portion of her leg and might not be able to balance with what’s left of it, so we amputated everything.”
“I took her home and continued to care for her with much loved and care.”
