00:01Private is very rarely private when it comes to Donald Trump. His five-day visit to Scotland
00:06ostensibly about inspecting his two golf courses here in his motherland. But as ever, he mixed
00:12business with pleasure and politics. The European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen
00:17swinging by to secure a U.S.-EU trade deal, followed a day later by Keir Starmer. And the
00:23president had plenty of advice to dish out when it came to U.K. politics. Cut immigration,
00:28cut taxes, cut crime if you want to beat my friend Nigel Farage at the next
00:33election. But there are also wins for Keir Starmer. The president turning the screws
00:38on Vladimir Putin, calling for a ceasefire, a peace deal for Ukraine within 10 to 12
00:44days rather than the previous 50. Also admitting that there is starvation in
00:50Gaza. So while some of the British newspapers may be cringing at the Prime
00:54Minister's deference to the president, in fact, being at the front of Trump
00:58Trump's queue showed its benefits this week. In fact, being with a softly, softly
01:05approach has yielded Britain 10 percent tariffs compared to Brussels 15.
