Canada, I put a charge on some of our companies, and Canada's been a very difficult country to deal with over the years.
00:08
You know, we here in Canada, we have a great relationship with the people of Canada, but it's been very difficult.
00:13
And they put a charge, and they were a little bit earlier, we found out about it.
00:18
And we have all the cards, we have every single one.
00:21
We don't want to do anything bad, but they have, economically, we have such power over Canada.
00:28
I'd rather not use it, but they did something with our tech companies today, trying to copy Europe.
00:34
You know, they copied Europe.
00:35
It's not going to work out well for Europe either, and it's not going to work out well for Canada.
00:40
They were foolish to do it.
00:42
And so I said, we're going to stop all negotiations with Canada right now until they straighten out their act.
00:48
Is there anything in Canada that you could change your mind about this?
00:51
No, they put a tax on companies that were American companies that they shouldn't, a very severe tax.
00:58
And, yeah, I guess they could remove it.
01:01
They will, but I don't really, I mean, it doesn't matter to me.
01:04
We have all the cards.
01:06
We have all the cards.
01:07
You know, we do a lot of business with Canada, but relatively little.
01:11
They do most of their businesses with us.
01:13
And when you have that circumstance, you treat people better.
01:17
They've had farmers that are getting like 300, 400, 200 percent in tariffs.
01:24
Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
01:25
We have cases, you don't read this, and the people don't report, but they charge us 400 percent on some dairy products.
01:35
400 percent.
01:36
Nobody writes that.
01:37
And it's not fair to our farmers, and we've got to protect our farmers.
