More foreign tourists go for lesser-known travel destinations in China

00:00Thanks to China's relaxed visa policies, including a 10-day visa-free transit option,
00:11more and more travelers are checking out the country's lesser-known destinations.
00:17Places like southwest China's Shuanghe Cave, Asia's longest where visitors can do things like
00:22cave abseiling and rock climbing, or small villages like this one in east China's Anhui
00:29province, where tourists lodge in homestays and dine on local cuisine.
00:34First day, we went for some river rafting, which was nice, and we had a lot of good food,
00:40a lot of different specialities for here.
00:44And even at extremely popular destinations like the Great Wall, some tourists are opting
00:49for off-the-beaten-path options.
00:52Xixia Village is part of Beijing and is surrounded by the wall on three sides.
00:57For tourists looking for a unique experience, Xixia is a great way to take in the sights
