00:03The country has been experiencing a severe shortage of fuel for the past two months as
00:07the jihadist group JNM has intensified attacks and blocks fuel shipments.
00:12This has consequences for the education sector.
00:18Classes will be suspended throughout the national territory from Monday 27th October 2025 to
00:25Sunday 9th November 2025.
00:30Classes will resume on 10th November 2025.
00:37This decision is due to disruptions in the supply of fuel, which have affected the movement
00:42of school staff.
00:47To ensure educational continuity and the completion of study programmes, arrangements are being
00:55made to adjust the school and university calendars.
