00:00While the government sprooked its build to rent scheme, questions on whether it's doing
00:12enough to combat the long wait for social housing were unavoidable.

00:22that we're getting houses out the door. We've added more than 3,600 social homes to date.
00:29The Housing Authority annual report tabled in Parliament this week revealed more than
00:3420,000 people are waiting for a subsidised rental, an increase of 1,000 people in a year.
00:42The predicted wait time for 3,000 of those people is five years.

01:18a legislative change. There is a lot of empty accommodation in Western Australia. That needs
01:23to be unlocked. A growing issue for a growing number.
01:28What we're serving is probably the most likely possible.
01:35There are other people who can get little
01:45homes and get things made to build a home on our own 핸드폰 site or the Community
01:52Agreement right now.
