00:07what i got from it right out the gate was like this is a love letter to fans uh correct me if
00:14i'm wrong but i just feel like this is just it's geared so much for the fans take it away but you
00:20tell me in your own yeah um no i mean it's exactly right it's a way for me to kind of connect with
00:25the fans even further and um how it started like i was talking to my best friend corey and i was like
00:32hey like i want a hat like this and i wanted to say stew york upside down and like you know simple
00:38i don't want anything else i don't want colors like i want it to be as basic as possible so people can
00:44wear it on the regular um and we made it then i wore it in for one of the walk-in fits and then
00:53everybody was like where can i get this hat what how can i get this hat um so i'm excited to be
00:59able to say that we're we're launching we're dropping it this coming week um and then there's so many
01:05other capsules coming along with that that'll be staged out um throughout the end of the season and
01:10into some of the the postseason but um it's just a way for them for me to connect myself and new york
01:17and for for the fans to be able to also do that it's incredible and um that was one of going to
01:24be one of my questions is there more to come so that's good to know that there's going to be more
01:28coming down the pipeline and it's not overwhelming there's a few pieces first that are dropping
01:33i love the way you're doing it um and you said how it started with your friends so like
01:39when did this process start and like because we know that you're into fashion your your style is
01:44incredible and i love that you use the word simple about the hat because i feel like we've got this
01:49perfect marriage of like simplistic style but it's so edgy and street wear and fun
01:56um and i i just love it so you yeah um i mean i think he made the hat for me
02:04it had to be july end of june july um and then there was like some buzz about like what i'm gonna
02:13do for for all-star with it um that that didn't work out but it's it's honestly gone so fast um i
02:22didn't know that everyone was gonna want one i just wanted one for myself um but i think it's it's really
02:28cool to see i've i've been able to pass out a few like wally was there last night um i gave him a hat
02:34i gave our owners claire and joe a hat claire and joe a hat um so doing like subtle drops subtle teases
02:44um soon the whole liberty team will have the hat um and it's like if you want to wear it you wear it if
02:51you don't you don't but it's it's it's cool i love it that's amazing um and this this process of
03:00doing this and you said it was quick and and things like that what part of i guess this process
03:07kind of caught you the most were you like wait i like to design things or i like this part of um
03:12fashion or whatever this process has been what kind of like clung to you yeah i think one of the
03:19the most unique parts about it is like obviously i'm dropping shoes you know i have the stewie four
03:25and there's capsules that come along with that through puma of like sweats and keys and stuff like
03:30that um and now i'm able to kind of individualize it a little bit uh i'm not having to sell to
03:39um corporate partners across the world and north america and things like that i'm able to just
03:45make what i think is cool and see if other people also think that um so like for example i have this
03:53this tea coming out it's like um it's not navy blue but it's like some kind of shade of blue
04:02and it just is like so so tiny stew york you know where it's like you can you can dress it up you can
04:09dress it down you can wear it's the game you can just wear it outside and and some people might know
04:14stew york like how that's relating to me and some people might not but they're still like this sounds
04:19cool i love that so much um and like we we talked about you know your style but how would you describe
04:28it in your own words because even when i see you and marta walking around together two completely
04:34different vibes of style and so good in their own right but like how would you describe yours um
04:44i would describe mine as like
04:48upscale but simple and also like i don't know like
04:56um cozy chic yeah kind of like i'm gonna be comfortable always but like i know i'm gonna
05:04look good i got my outfit that i wore last night for the game i don't know if you saw it
05:11um shorts something was the blazer and then this through your cat i was like this is perfect
05:18yes i was thinking i saw that and i was thinking of the denim that you wore i think it was like two
05:24days ago with like the oh so new york but that blazer the way you rock that like
05:31and this collection is so dope and down the line like you got to do like blazers and sunglasses and
05:38a blazer is so you like just so good with the stew york t-shirt underneath yeah i mean that's that's
05:46the goal like you know this thankfully the the team has been able to put this together and like put my
05:52vision to work like so quickly um and now it's let's see let's see what the demand is let's see what
05:58the desire and the want is and um how can we slowly like do this year after year or season after season
06:08um to just give people subtle pieces that can help their wardrobe in a lot of different ways
06:13absolutely i love that and and just the way hearing you before how you described the hat like exactly
06:20what you wanted the upside down and things like that you seem and are so involved in the process
06:27you know i feel like these kind of projects help set up your life outside of the game and i think
06:36that's so important what do you think you kind of learned about yourself throughout all of this you
06:40know um design or the launch or anything like that that kind of surprised you like oh like i'm i'm
06:47good at this or like i got a flavor in this or anything like that um i think what kind of surprised
06:54me about it is like i don't know that i i know what i want and i know what i like and just from
07:02things that i've worn that i like or that i don't like um and kind of putting that into play for for
07:08where the fashion game is going and obviously living in new york you're around it so much like
07:13you see people dressed up or dressed down or doing something everywhere you go and um
07:20just just a way to to be able to do it and like it's crazy because people don't even know it's gonna
07:27it's gonna drop you know like they're the first time we're like talking about it um so just
07:35like not making it like sports related just making it lifestyle related i love that so much i i think
07:42that's incredible and i feel like you just hit the nail on the head i feel like you know bringing
07:47it into a lifestyle brand more and it's not so much attached to anything but you i i love that i'm
07:52so happy for you i think it's incredible you're gonna break a side of the internet when people see
07:57this and it's gonna be so epic um just kind of like as we get towards the end of the conversation here
08:04when you you know when you're wearing your pieces out or different things of that nature
08:09what are you doing outside of the game that um with between fashion you know i saw you know
08:16you're doing pottery a little bit what do you like to do where you're rocking your pieces
08:21um i mean go to dinner i feel like there's so many different spots throughout brooklyn that you can
08:27always do something um you know we have fashion week coming up like there's there's a lot of events
08:34going going to be happening for that in the next coming weeks but um i don't know i just want to
08:39like enjoy the summer and it's hard to do that in the middle of a season but um whether it's going
08:45to the park with the kids or you know doing like a day date with marta um i feel like i can always wear
08:51these pieces and not feel like like i'm not always like me me me you know what i mean like it's not like
08:59specifically like look at me this is my t-shirt it's just like if you get it you get it if you
09:03don't you don't right like you're not walking around with like your face on a t-shirt or like
09:07massive like logos and everything i i love that um and uh really quick what has been the reaction
09:16from your friends and family um from this collection what is what have they been saying when you brought
09:22it up everybody's like i want a hat i want a hat can i get a hat where can i get a hat can you give
09:28me a hat and i'm like i'm not you can get a hat when it drops um or you know my team is going to get
09:37gifted a hat and there's going to be like a a little drop teaser because i'm having a birthday party this
09:43week so there'll be some some of the um capsules there distributed a little bit but people are
09:51excited and then they're like well how can i get one and i'm like hopefully you'll get one hopefully
09:57they don't sell out that that is like i i'm not a betting person but if i were betting they would be
10:04sold out for sure i i have much faith in that um and what um oh this is what i want to ask you when
10:14this does drop and celebrity rose massive obviously at barclays who do you want to see rocking that hat
10:22or the tea or the hoodie anything um um who do i want to see i gotta see like
10:31like well a boogie has to come back to a game so i think he was on tour so once he comes back
10:38hopefully we'll see him rocking the hat or the tea um
10:45who else do we want to come oh the u.s open is coming like francis
10:53carlos coco give me all the the greatest tennis players right
11:01oh they'll definitely be here anyway so like come on exactly and if anything we're manifesting it so
11:08it's perfect um and just lastly you know you said there's more collection uh uh to come but
11:19what do you see for this for the future i guess you know um obviously it's hard to predict but what
11:25do you see for this where do you want to take it with you know sky's the limit yeah i mean i think
11:30what i see for this is uh slowly growing it out like seeing what works you know seeing what teas
11:37are going to sell more than the others the color is it the pattern like um i know some of this like
11:42just how it works through puma um and then making minor tweaks you know if let's see if we can make this
11:50demand kind of uh long lasting and you know there's hopefully we're gonna have multiple drops of the
11:58hat because that's how many people want it and then the same with the the clothing you know do people
12:05want a blazer you know or um a bag or things like that and how can i kind of create and design it to
12:16what i would wear and what that average consumer also will wear i love that just hearing you speak
12:23about it um the passion from the business side and and it's just it's so cool to see you do this and
12:30i'm really happy for you um i can't wait to see it witness all the success and see everybody rocking
12:36it um and we got to get everybody on celebrity row
