The Halo remake goes beyond just updating graphics

00:00Halo is coming to PlayStation 5 in the form of Halo Campaign Evolved, an Unreal Engine 5 remake of Halo 1.

00:07Split-screen co-op and four-player online co-op are immediately available.

00:11No competitive multiplayer, though. This is just the campaign from Halo 1.

00:16But there's a new three-mission prequel campaign that revolves around Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson.

00:21All of the character models and motion capture have been remade from scratch.

00:25Even the voice lines have been re-recorded by the original Master Chief and Cortana,

00:29and there may be more.

00:30Vehicles are now boardable and destructible, meaning you can fight back against the ghosts,

00:35but you're also not invulnerable in a scorpion tank.

00:38Other elements from Halo's sequels are also included.

00:40You'll be able to wield energy swords and other weapons, sprint without a cooldown,

00:44and replay it with dozens of different skull modifiers.

00:48No dual-wielding, though.
