00:00What is your response to the protests over the weekend?
00:02Who are you with?
00:03With AP?
00:04With AP?
00:05What's your response to the protests over the weekend?
00:08I think it's a joke.
00:09I looked at the people.
00:10They're not representative of this country.
00:12And I looked at all the brand new signs paid for,
00:15I guess it was paid for by Soros and other radical left lunatics.
00:19It looks like it was.
00:21I'm checking it out.
00:22The demonstrations were very small, very ineffective.
00:26And the people who were whacked out, when you look at those people,
00:29those are not representative of the people of our country.
00:32Mr. President, besides San Francisco...
00:34And by the way, I'm not a king.
00:35I'm not a king.
00:36I work my ass off to make our country great.
00:38That's all it is.
00:39I'm not a king at all.
00:41Besides San Francisco, are there other cities you're actively looking at?
00:45The National Guard right now?
00:46Yeah.
00:47What about it?
00:48I'm just wondering if you care to comment on that.
00:50Well, we've used the National Guard to be very successful in Memphis.
00:54You can see the numbers there falling like rocks.
00:57Washington, D.C.
00:59Chicago is getting better, even though we're going through a lot.
01:02You know, we're trying to do it in a very nice way.
01:06I'm allowed, as you know, as president, like 50% of the presidents have used the Insurrection Act.
01:12We can use that.
01:13Everybody agrees you're allowed to use that.
01:15And there's no more court cases.
01:16There's no more anything.
01:18We're trying to do it in a nicer manner.
01:21But we can always use the Insurrection Act if we want to.
01:24If you take a look in the past, one in particular president used it 28 times during the course of our presidency.
01:32So we're allowed to do that.
01:33We thought we could do it in a very nice way.
01:35All we want to do is have safe cities.
01:37We're not looking for anything that would be spectacular other than crime-free become spectacular.
01:43We want to have great crime-free cities.
01:46So I'd be allowed to use them.
01:48I wanted the Insurrection Act, and then all of this nonsense would go away.
01:52You have the absolute right.
01:53It's the strongest power a president has, and you have the absolute right to do it.
01:57We wanted to go this route, but we get sued every time you look at somebody.
02:02You look at somebody the wrong way, and you end up getting sued.
02:05We just want no crime.
02:06We want to have crime-free cities.
