Crowds gathered Saturday across the United States and Europe for "No Kings" rallies protesting the war in Iran and President Donald Trump's actions. Minnesota became a focal point, with thousands filling the Capitol lawn in St. Paul and nearby streets. Demonstrators stood shoulder-to-shoulder, some waving upside-down U.S. flags as distress signals. Protests stretched from New York City to Driggs, Idaho, reflecting nationwide dissent across diverse communities and political landscapes, with participation expected in the millions overall according to organizers.

00:20Mass protests, millions on the streets, from New York to Los Angeles, America is rising
00:28in anger.
00:30As the Iran war enters its second month, the backlash has begun, and it's being called
00:37No Kings.
00:39Across all 50 states, thousands of demonstrations have erupted nationwide, more than 3,000 coordinated
00:47events drawing crowds in the hundreds of thousands, possibly even millions.
00:53From Washington, D.C. to Chicago, from Philadelphia to Minneapolis, the message is the same, end
01:01the war, bring the troops home.
01:04Protesters are targeting one decision, the move to enter the war against Iran, calling
01:11it costly, unnecessary, and dangerous.
01:14Chants echoed through the streets, no war for Israel, hands off Iran, no more endless wars.
01:24I really have been, I'm fed up with everything that's going on and I don't believe in anything
01:29that's going, that this presidency goes for, especially this war, so we're here to participate
01:36and also to show future generations that change can happen and hope is our resistance.
01:43For many, this is about more than foreign policy.
01:46It's about power and who decides when America goes to war.
01:52Protesters accuse the administration of bypassing Congress and dragging the country into another
01:58prolonged conflict in the Middle East.
02:01One month ago, Trump and his partner, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,
02:12started a war with Iran.
02:15This war is unconstitutional.
02:19Trump did not seek or receive authorization from Congress.
02:24This war is a violation of international law.
02:29One sovereign nation cannot simply go about attacking another sovereign nation for any reason it chooses.
02:46Since this war began, 13 American soldiers have been killed and hundreds have been wounded, including another 12 yesterday.
03:00Voices like Bernie Sanders are amplifying the movement, warning of deeper risks to democracy and governance.
03:08The protests are not just in major cities.
03:12Organizers say a large share of demonstrations are happening in smaller towns, expanding the movement beyond traditional strongholds.
03:22Minnesota, particularly the Twin Cities, has become a focal point, drawing massive crowds and intense political attention.
03:31The protests are also tied to broader concerns, immigration crackdowns, economic pressure, and rising fuel prices.
03:41But the Iran war remains the central issue.
03:45As the war continues overseas, a different battle is unfolding at home, on the streets, at the ballot box, and
03:54in the national conversation.
03:55Because this time, the question isn't just about war abroad, it's about power at home.
