00:00Oh, it's always wonderful walking in these front doors.
00:02I have many fond memories here, but I'll tell you, it laid the groundwork for an excellent career so far.
00:07So I really appreciate 4-6. These men and women were extremely hard.
00:12And the community just deserves the best from the 4-6 precinct.
00:17Last question on my end, just to you too.
00:20For Hispanic Heritage Month, the importance of also seeing other police officers that are Latinos out there as well.
00:25What do you hope they take away from seeing you and what you achieve?
00:28I hope it inspires them.
00:30I mean, it's important to honor the sacrifices of everyone who came before us.
00:33But just as important to have that pride in your heritage and your culture,
00:39everything that's wonderful about our culture, and spread that out to serve every community.
00:44How do you feel as well?
00:47I'm just delighted because at the event down at One Police Plaza,
00:51I was able to see a display of all the executives that are now of Hispanic Heritage and the NYPD.
01:02And I was just overwhelmed.
01:03It was so delightful to see the numbers and to see how well represented we are.
01:10well, I think that the numbers were looking for people from being able to observe each other in the world.
